vince staples shyne coldchain 2

When Shyne Coldchain Vol. 1 dropped at the start of 2012, Vince Staples was a relatively unknown name, best known for his affiliation with Odd Future. Fast forward two years and the Long Beach teenager is signed to Def Jam and boasts one of the best guest verses of 2013 (on Earl Sweatshirt’s “Hive”). Today he’s finally released his follow-up project, Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2, which is sure to further establish Vince as one of the Left Coast’s best new lyricists. The 10-track offering features appearances from Jhené Aiko and James Fauntleroy, and production from No I.D., Scoop DeVille, Evidence and DJ Babu.
