I totally believe we need a massive overhaul of the gun control laws in this country. There are way too many guns in this country, gun plus people kill. Not either or. And there is absolutely no reason for any guns other than hunting rifles to be so readily available to anyone besides licensed security and law enforcement.
But that doesn’t mean that I don’t see the hypocrisy too.
P and son are at the gun range, doing what many many many fathers and sons (and daughters) are doing all of the country. If he wasn’t in NY, he wouldnt be going to jail for his gun charges. Nascar dads need to switch to paintguns too.

First of all That video that you put up there is a CLIP OF MINE that they stoled from my youtube. TYPE IN StarrPistols on youtube. Second of all the DVD I got it from is from 2003. They don’t sell it no more. Prodigy did that to pass what he loves the most to his son and thats guns cause P love guns. His son probably don’t even like guns like him but he did it. @8…..well that’s the whole pro-gun argument that I dont agree with. The “we” and the “them” (criminals) is not a distinction that I feel safe with. I want to have a law enforcement sector that I can really trust, so that “we” dont need to protect ourselves with things that can also kill us. Sean Taylor would be alive not if he had a burner, he’d be alive if other guys with guns didnt break in his house and shoot him.
Also, if he had a gun, maybe he would have killed one of the robbers (which you may think they deserve)….or…that gun might one day be found by his son. new toy? no.
If “being licensed” meant alot alot alot more, then that would at least be a big improvement. And just less access. period.

@5 infamous p….its sad that in your anger, you completely failed to get my point. If you had better reading comprehension, you’d see that I’m saying is: while I think we need to crack down on illegal guns….P is just doing what alot of other folks do with their kids outside of NY.
As for the video being old, and worldstarhiphop stealing it from you, that has nothing to do with me. You need to take that up with them.
I’ve never seen your DVD. But I also never promoted this footage as some new exclusive shit. I’ve known that P takes his son to the range, he’s talked about it publicly before.

@ everyone… The sad this with this is I lost my younger cuz on fathers day to some young kid trying to make a name for himself with a gun. I do believe that people should be aloud to protect themselves but lets be honest guns will always be around just like drugs will always be around but I feel i a person can be taught to control themselves when this weapon it will be better. I mean lets keep it 100 info I hate the fact that stupid rednecks will always control the gun laws but imaging this… educate instead of ban guns and I bet more people wouldn’t be so thursty to get their hands on one. I mean they can make the gun laws tougher but that doesn’t mean people will stop getting them it just means people will be starter at geting them. @Missinfo First,Love the blog, but a 7 year old shouldn’t be learning to shoot a shotgun(or any gun at that)cause learning to shoot an gun sure as hell didn’t help his father who is heading to jail. I never learned to pump the shootie and I’m doing well and i believe you are doing well also without that lesson. Sorry for my earlier lack of knowledge as to where this “rapper” lives but you must admit this video makes you uncomfortable, it’s not gangster or cool it’s just sad. I dont have a problem with ppl arming themselves or protecting their families….My only hope is that P is not teaching his kids to “love” guns.
For some ppl, they feel they need a gun…if thats the case dats cool as long as they understand that this is not the movies.
Ur not supposed to “love” a gun….If u have to own 1 it should be looked at as a necessary evil. Used for 1 purpose and 1 purpose only….to lay some1 down that is trying to cause ur family bodily harm. They shouldnt be owned so that u can feel “tough”. Cause if u aint tough WITHOUT 1 u damn sure aint tough WITH 1.

My Dad taught me how to shoot when i was about the same age and how lethal and dangerous they were and it kinda made me less scared of guns.
I shot rifles and hand guns. Knowing what I know about guns I can protect myself in a gun fight and not kill no one.
Gun carriers and users are getting younger and they are easily accessible teaching the youth about gun safety is 1 way of tackling the problem in my eyes.

i remember this dvd was mentioned in xxl a couple years ago along with the one where big pun is pistol whipping his wife,kay slay smacking a dj,game on change of hearts,lil scrappy getting thrown off the stage by the police and dipset getting beat up and chased at the rucker as the best moments captured on street dvds.
now tell me that p teaching his son how to protect himself is worse then big pun hitting his wife in the eye with a gun in front of their little kids and other family members.i dare you.

i heard either noreage or prodigy (one of them) rap about how his father first introduced him to guns – so i don’t find this surprising. You’ll be amazed at how people raise their children. Some even send their kids to school with drugs (to sell to other children).

that said, you are right if Shaun Taylor would have had a burner then it would have been a dead robber as opposed to him, which IMO is fine in self defense! They have lost their life anyway by going to prison for the next 30-40 years..
Regarding our police protecting us, you gotta be kidding me! As a black man recent history has shown that cops are more apt to shoot AT ME then to shoot for my protection…

They say guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Well I say guns and people kill people so we need better gun regulation. Get the guns off the streets and people won’t have to worry about carrying guns to protect there home because if the guns are off the streets criminals won’t have them. more gun laws are not going to protect you. when will people finally understand that? you can’t have a gun in dc, not even in your own home, has that stopped people from getting shot in dc? not at all. taking guns away from law abiding citizens only makes them defenseless against criminals who are going to have guns legal or not and they will use them even quicker because they know everyone else is unarmed. nothing wrong with p showing his son how to shoot, at least he’s there for his kid. if this was some white man on the ranch with rifle showing his son the same thing you people wouldn’t even think twice about it.

all i have to say on this subject is that the other week when there were something like 3 public shootings in the space of 5 days, the media’s reaction to the first one that went down in the shopping mall was ‘DO WE NEED TO STEP UP SECURITY IN SHOPPING MALLS?’ (??!!!) and ‘ARE WE SAFE IN MALLS? Then the next day I hear that some idiot with a gun opens fire on a school bus.. does this mean we need to step up security on school buses??! (HOW ABOUT BANNING GUNS U FOOLS??) As an englishman watching the american gun situation, I find it fucking ridiculous to give any1 the right to own a gun.. just as ridiclous as giving little kids toy guns, army figures and computer games which encourage u to blow up other countries… we are living in a really messed up world of constant brainwashing and no one wants to wake up to it!!
And as for P ‘wanting to pass on one of his passions to his 7 yr old son??? GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE… does that mean they smoked a couple of blunts and sipped some hennesy on the way home??? Just cos shooting guns is acceptable across america doesnt mean its right. Use ur own head and common sense to make decisons.. not what the your government tells u.
