50 Cent Funkmaster Flex Interview & Lloyd Banks reacts to Kanye West

50 Cent called into Hot 97 and Funkmaster Flex’s show tonight to speak on his run in with Jay-Z, Kanye’s Twitter praise for Lloyd Banks (more about that after the jump), Fabolous vs. Soulja Boy, Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather.

TRACE TV spoke with Lloyd Banks and asked about his reaction to Kanye’s tweet yesterday about Banks being underrated and Top 5 in the game right now, 50 Cent also makes a quick cameo in the interview and co-signs the statement.
Don’t mind the misspell he meant Lloyd Banks.

Great gamesmanship on the part of Kanye he threw this out there to tease 50, 50 jumped on it and he prolly laughing but will still work with 50.. Its crazy because Kany went out of his way to do records with everybody that was going at 50 from Game to Wayne to Ross shit just about anyone!! So for him to say that and get this type of reaction is just odd and funny… Lets be real and I am a GUnit fan banks aint no fuggen top 5 NOW!! Maybe Top 5 second or Third string but first string Is Wayne, Kanye, Eminem, Jaz-O Jr and 50 Cent.. Second String guys like Fab, Crooked I you do the rest… But wheere does banks fit in with that retarded ADD rap one second hood stories the next line the bitches nigga stay on a topic.. that shit is bad!!

After the Jayz-50cent conversation people from both teams kinda chilled. It’s only proper that the two bosses came to terms so their right hand men “kanye and Banks” did the same as well.
Ps. Banks is more lyrical than 50cents and Kanyef or that matter, he just never had a break being a follower all these years.

Is it me, or does it seem that 50 has kinda parted from his “bad guy” persona? In that interview, he wasn’t dissing Wayne, in fact, I think he was kinda in his own way making amense. I truly believe that he is focusing on his musicianship more than ever before. Who knows? Time will only tell.

50 Career ender is his new album.IT’S NOT EVEN THE BEATS ITS HIS CRAPY FLOW.
He need to focus on his ryhmes… He talks about nothing interesting…
his last two albums tanked…..a third would mean devastation.

50 has many different facets to his style of being interviewed. My favorite is when he’s on with Flex though. Although Flex can be highly annoying I appreciate the way he opens Fif up the way nobody else can. Props to Flex.

Flex probably wouldn’t understand this, but 50 defenitely does….Shyne was tight b/c 50 kicked him while he was down, I mean really down. 50 knows you don’t do that shit, it was just b/c he entertained signing with The Inc., 50 felt a way & spit that line. Fab & SB’s age have nothing to do with that sh!t. Fab spit a qick line in a song….so what….this rap shit is a sport…..why can’t rappers say anything about somebody in a song anymore?? 50 is actually really intelligent and it would be really hard for 50 to ever have hits like his first album just logistically because he had arguably one of raps hottest albums ever and it was in a different era, he would really have to change is flow to make it poppy,techno type flow, and not the way he did with justin timberlake, but i also learned you you can never cant a player out of the game

I fuckin hate flex interviews. He constantly interrupts whoever he is interviewing to babble incoherently. Can somebody that knows him talk to him? Seriously. “Yo it was a different kind of bananas! It was crazy and you used a different name and it was real crazy! It was crazy!” What? For godsakes, shut your dumb ass up. If you insist on speaking, don’t talk over the person you are interviewing, and, oh yeah, make sense. Interviewing 101.
