Something about this video looks too artificial to me. The three biggest artist in their respective field want to resort to playing fake gangsters just to make their video look cool? Compare this to the Ruff Ryders video of Whose Real and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
Can someone please tell me why we now have teasers for music videos? It’s a MUSIC VIDEO! It’s not a feature-length motion picture… It’s a MUSIC VIDEO. The trailer video is approximately 1/10th of the running time of the ACTUAL video… Sooo why not just release the real video?
Oh, I know, I know… it’s so we’ll get all worked up and talk about how it’s the next “Thriller” or… whatever. I’m sure when it’s released we’ll be like “oh… would ya look at that… a music video… with rappers mouthing words to a prerecorded track as people around them gyrate and make tough looking faces all woven together by the magic of editing in a pitiful attempt to provide some sort of narrative experience [pause]… totally unexpected and groundbreaking. never seen anything like it.”
The Whole ‘teaser’ releases is starting to annoy me as-well. I haven’t seen a video that looks particularly ’special’ in a years and by the looks of this video. This is not likely to change.
What i almost find most insulting is this multimillionaire gangsterism being adopted by Jay Z and friends. Please! A few days ago he went back to his old neighborhood. with like 50 bodyguards. jay, stop pretending you don’t run anything, not even your own household. We both now who wears the pants there.
I WAS a HUGE fan of Rocafella and the OLD Jayz. Blueprint #1 is one of my favorite hiphop albums ever. I think I listen to it everyday (really) that and a lot of other music when im working out. I just dont olike the NEW Jayz. I personally think he should have stayed retired just like jordan should have.
Why am I a hater or crazy for saying that? Im sure we all think that. Jayz is NICE. Always will be NICE. No denying that. Im just not feeling what hes doing now. Am I wrong or a monster for feeling that way and expressing it? Noooooo

this teaser remindes me of that TI video “hurt” or whatever that song was called. this teaser and the video treatment remindes me of a lot of videos. i was looking at some of the stills on another website and i was like it’s not a jay z video if there isn’t fire and a garage clip, and on the first page of this website is a fabo feat jigga video which starts of in a garage. remember when hova was about the cars horses money and parties. hmmm.

1. How u let Kanye outshine u on this track?
2. Rihanna took away from song instead of adding on.
3. That whole Mad Max theme been done already.
