Jay & Mos Def were clowing Diddy. he looked so out of place. how can you be on the same stage as people who produce real music, real Hip Hop? The fake shit that goes on in the industry that jay talks about are the exact same individuals as diddy.

I see Jays game. Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. Hes playing his position for now, but when hes at that right spot, he’ll go on the attack. Im sick of these industry cats who influence young kids into that dumb shit.

There’s always gonna be styles that start in 1 region and crossover to the next. Dudes in NYC rock Dickie pants and so do dudes on the west, NY rappers were wearing grills in the 80’s and early 90’s before it was really poppin back a couple of yrs ago in the south etc. But I don’t here NY rappers talking about Trappin, candy paint drippin and all that.

I think my bigger point is that the whole BS North vs. South debate doesn’t need the jabs b/c its such a sensitive issue(which it shouldn’t be) and distracts people from what is a “great” song.
