Mikey: Here’s another clip from the Rap-Up’s sit down with Drake, here he talks about how the Alicia Keys collabo came about, and actually “battling” Ms. Keys for the record.
(Check out some throwback footage of Drake working with Belly in the studio)

I think Drake is a better RnB artist that a rapper. I hope his album would be like his mixtape (with a lot of RnB).

The vibe on this track is overly sick, loving that ambient groove. track is a winner! Drake is more “musically” talented than people give him credit for.

Alicia FINALLY made a song that compares to her first album. I haven’t felt any of her songs like I felt her first album. I love me some Keys still though.
By the way… what did Drake do again? 12,000 other singers could have done what he did. Just bein real.

He wrote the song and the melodies yeah I guess you could say 12,000 other singers/ rappers could have done that; that’s your opinion I guess but fact is Drake did it not the so called 12,000 others so give the kid his do. He’s 23 years old and the world is his oyster right now and he seems to be handling it with much class and humility so far. I also can’t agree with you on not feeling Alicia’s songs over the years her first album was a great introduction but as she matured I think the music became more layered and the subject matter and writing all together more diverse and better executed. To me Alicia has only gotten better from album to album but like I said I guess it’s all opinion.

Very sexy track and I can definitely hear the Drake in the melodies and writing it definitely sounds like something that could have been on the So Far Gone mixtape. However with Drake taking on a supporting role on the vocals and not raping gives Alicia the leeway to make the song all her own with her incredible vocals. Great job guys. Damn this kid Drake is good he’s like a super hyped up summer block buster that you want to hate on just so not to fall into the hype beast of it all so you wait weeks after the opening to see it all skeptical and shit and you walk out of the theater like damnit it was that good. Props to the kid.
