Mikey: The official behind the scenes by Three21Media. Can’t wait for the actual video, even though I kinda feel like I’ve seen it already. Directed by Rik Cordero.

Rik Cordero when are you going to answer my question?
Once again what next level shit are you bringing to the game? I´m still seeing the same Rik bullshit. Should I show you what next level should look like?

Rik Corodero I challege you to a directing match… I think you need to be exposed. I will make it easy for you, “homage” something else and I will still out shine you with an original piece…

You can only release so many “snippets” and “BTS”, until I just get totally annoyed. Still a dope song…. KILLA!

Man, I wish the hype machine would slow down a little. It seems like anything Clipse are involved with is followed with eight snippet videos, Twitter campaign, Facebook fan pages, super graphics on Sunset Blvd buildings. I like their stuff, but I’m a little full from all the hypejuice.

I just took a peek at Three21/media production reels headed by Rik Cordero, and I must say I haven’t seen a more amateurish bunch in all my life. Honestly, never have I been unable view an entire reel of a directors work. Rik, I am so damaged and my eyes burn. The only one over there that has any ounce of creative talent is Mr. Jake McAfee. Jake you need to jump ship, and I’m sure you will soon. I bet money that by march 2010 Jake would have moved on to bigger and better things.
I almost feel bad for you Rik, not really. I feel someone should have pulled your coat tails a long time ago, you are not a good director. I’m sure your treatments make for good reading but they don’t transcend into good visuals. No I am not an hater. I just feel you is taking a lot of these artists for a ride. The visuals drew little or no real interest out side of this little corner of Hip Hop. They fail to catapult the artists in to the stratosphere or any phere. As a director is your job to be creative. Your visuals break no new ground. They are nothing more than space fillers. Give me an example of an artist that has benefitted from working with you? Interest and sells stays the same or drop…
Missinfo no disrespect, but you are partly to blame for this. You are Rik’s biggest cheerleader, sometimes I question your motives. Just look at how many spots Rik has on your site alone compeer to other rising directors. Missinfo you seem to be well educated and knowledgeable if hip hop’s history, so I’m sure its safe to say you are a sane person, but when it comes to Rik’s work I feel you are hmmm……… delusional.

josh. here is my motive. 1) Rik is definitely my friend. Its no secret. I’ve worked with him numerous times. He’s helped me with my video work as well. I’ve talked about us being friends. I know him and his family outside of work. 2) I like his work. This is my blog. Whatever I like or support is on here. 3) Alot of his work is very newsworthy.
So if I’ve helped get his name out there….I’m happy.

Now its all clear.
The next time you are sitting across the dinner table with the big homie, let him know Josh Iowa is coming throught and that he should step his creative game up to the tenth power.
Missinfo dont get it fucked up Im not attacking your best bud as a person just that shit he´s passing off as creative next level.
