Love the black keys. Good song never thought I'd like anything Jim Jones is on and the idea of him on the same song as the great Mos Def seemed like blasphemy to me, but Jimmy does a good job here. He's not being his usual over ad-libing with basic rapping sprinkled in between ad-libs corny ass. He's also not over stepping his lyrical skill boundaries either by trying to be something he's not like some kind of great word smith or something. Jimmy stayed in his lane Mos did his Mos thing and the result is a good song and a very simple but perfect for the song music video. Can't wait for this album. Hope it's a success Dame needs it to be dude needs to start putting zero's behind the comma again to pay the banks all that money he owes them ya know ;-).

This album will probably do double aluminum. The snippets were better than this actual song. The only real artist on there is Mos Def...and sometimes you lose when you affiliate yourself with a certain caliber of people. I respect the fact that Dame is not resting and still doing whatever he has to do to earn and make music that will respond to the masses. I pray this formula works for him although I'm not feeling most of it. Everybody has Jay's name in their mouth and not doing anything productive for themselves. From Mos to Jim, now it's Beans, Game, 50, Jaz O, Prodigy, Baby...and this dude is on his own float with the Yankess, then he performs, and then he's on stage with U2 in what looks like a Roman arena. I'd rather emulate than hate. We use the achievements of others on a constant basis to determine what we would like to be in the future, whether its Michael Jordan, Oprah, Bob Johnson (BET), or Jay. I never heard Kobe call Jordan a sucker or Coldplay say U2 could kiss my ass. Hip-Hop is still on the brink of death and no one can respect the worldwide coverage that Jay is giving to this genre. I'm no dickrider but I understand growth and progress and those who wish to stymie those same things that this culture needs. Grow up!!!

I havnt been a jimmy fan since him and juelz pulled that 50 stunt. But this track makes me relize that jimmy does alot better (music wise) when he doesnt have to try to steal some of cams shine..

But he still a disloyal person....cant believe he still claims the set when he almost destroyed it by showing his lack of loyalty...which makes all his old lyrics BS

Wish info would let us know how she feels about jimmy as a person she knows him better than me id guess lol

Thanks for your comment Jim Jones.

Jay-Z's American Gangster was a classic album IMHO. I bang some songs from it every day. E.g. Fallin', American Dreamin, and Say Hello.

In fact, Jimmy, it was you who jacked his concept by coming out with "Harlem's American Gangster." How original!

Dame, if you're reading, make NOE's collabo the next single for this album.

Personally, I liked the Mos Def, NOE and Nikki Wray collabos, didn't care for the rest. But these joints were hot.

This is music right here. You can feel the soulfulness. It feels real.

On another note... That new Maino joint sounds like it's throwing jabs @ Ye-Z if you listen closely. Subliminals and all that.
