Mikey: Alicia Keys appeared on CNN over the weekend and talked about her Keep a Child Alive Organization which is helping to fight HIV/Aids in Africa. She recalls how her success brought her to the continent to perform, but coming face to face with youth stricken with the disease called her to help in the fight against the monster. Alicia’s next album, Element of Freedom, drops Dec.1st which is also World Aids Day.

I’m sorry but who decided it was necessary to elaborate on which specific country in Africa?
Could she not be helping to fight the problem across the ENTIRE CONTINENT?
Or is there only ONE country in Africa that has an AIDS problem?
What if she was helping to fight AIDS in Europe? Would you all be so particular about her not mentioning the absolute GPS location of where in Europe she was? Or pointing out that “Europe is not a country”
Who said Africa was a country? Mikey Fresh most certainly didn’t.
In fact I’m finding it hard to understand how any English speaking person could be confused by the following:

Can someone explain how it is incorrect to refer to Africa in the first sentence and then describe it as a CONTINENT in the second sentence?

Maybe doing charity in that country Africa, gives u a good concience after stealing another woman’s happiness…one minute u are stealings someones husband, next minute u are doing charity. I am confused

The song is kinda boring, and i’m the biggest A. Keys fan you could meet, and by far the sexiest woman i’ve seen in my lifetime. Don’t judge her based on her being with swizzy cuz trust me none of us knwws wat the hell really happened in that circle, thats why i don’t give a shit about these celebs personally, cuz everybody got their own shit to think about.

Glad to see Ms.Keys doing something positive with her time making a difference for others that don”t have the power to do it themselves. As for her new song kinda sounds like other songs she has released no real growth if you asked me.The video did not rock my either. But I know Alicia will do her thing nonetheless.
