Vic Mensa’s debut album, The Autobiography, released in-stores and all streaming services on Friday. With his Roc Nation debut now out, the Save Money artist appeared on The Breakfast Club to promote the project.

In their 44-minute conversation, Vic and The Breakfast Club crew discussed JAY-Z calling him a “once in a lifetime artist,” KRS-One getting him into Hip-Hop, treatment from Chicago police from a young age, dealing with drug addiction and suicidal thoughts, JAY-Z suggesting to remove a Lil’ Yachty diss line, the song “Homewrecker,” activism, his thoughts on DJ Akademiks, and resolving his beef with Chance the Rapper.
