Vibe returns with Drake and Chris Brown, and a shortsleeve turtleneck

Vibe is up already as a web-mag, and now back in print, with my longtime friend Jermaine Hall at the wheel, and pal Clover Hope editing. In fact, I think she has me babbling about something in the issue. *shivers* But a couple things struck me about these dual covers. 1) Drake’s fitted is like a stovepipe baseball hat. Tall! and 2) Chris’ shortsleeve turtleneck. Um. and Hmm. He also has the expression of someone who is about to catch something wet and smelly. And is not too thrilled about it. LOL
But after the jump, there are short videos featuring both Drizzy and Crizzy.

I’m not hating on drake but how do u get nominated for a grammy with no album & 1 OFFICIAL single. Besides that, his music is cool but it just feels like dude is very rehearsed and is prepped on everything that comes out his mouth.

And why the hate for the fact that the dude was able to drop a mixtape on the internet that people were feelin so much, that it jumped into mainstream rotation and ended up gettin a grammy nod. THAT SHIT IS UNPRECEDENTED!!!If anything, thats bringing hiphop to a higher level and its also showing the potential of the internet as a vehicle to making a sucessful artist in a way thats different from the way artists usually become successful. And its not like the guy did this overnight as he had been droppin stuff since 2006
Even if you don’t feel his music, at least be objective enough to apreciate how groundbreaking this guy’s rise to stardom has been.
Anyhing less is just more internet/blog HATE!!!!

I love the “Exclusive” word how it is used by the media…CB has done interviews with every freakin major publication but somehow Vibe’s is “exclusive”…
I am barely holding onto the Drake train, I have to wait until his album drops to decide if I will stay on…I know the album is going to make noise and sell a million first week but I dont judge an artist on album sales, I judge on content, if that album has more then 5 featured artists (which is inevitable) I am getting off the train…the featurings should die like auto-tunes
