Jesus,, who dressed these guys? JD looked so so feminine, not to mention TI’s Mustard sweater. Listening to Timbo talk you’d never think that he came up in that Devante Swing camp. Master P went over the hill at top speed! Where’d his neck go? And seriously,,,, all that time at Nickelodeon,,, and thats the best Romeo can read a cue card? I heard Silkk was thinkin bout a come back,,,but he still can’t find the beat in his old songs. How come the rest of 2 Live crew Look like their shaking off AID’s complications and Luke Looks exactly like he did 25 years ago? I thought Mystkal, Cham, and Bone were hot to me,, and VH1 definatly visualy transfered some of the energy,,, but the South coulda done wayyyyyyy better

I love the idea of the Hip Hope Honors but I love the nostalgia that it brings about a whole lot more. So it was pretty difficult to really enjoy it this year, as it seemed like just a broadcast of a dirty south concert from 5 years ago.

I’m from NY & it was better than I thought it would be, I can’t front. At least some of them brought a little energy to the stage unlike some of our home town rappers. It the same all over, the older stuff sound way better than the new ish. I missed hearing some of those hits. I just wonder why this wasn’t held in the South so they could get love from they crowd.

The show was a lot better than I thought it would be. I watched the DMX Behind the Music, intending to turn the TV off as soon as the honors show came on. I’m glad I watched it because I definitely learned some stuff about artists that I’m less familiar with, but I still feel that there were some things about the show that seemed off to me.
