It's been a while since an NY artist actually made a change or took risk or has been prominent. I am more of a down south listener but I like all sides. I am not a lil wayne fan. I can deal with Drake but don't consider him great either. But I will say this. They take risk. They swithc it up on you and you don't stay bored. Those are elements that all great artist should have. Alot of people are like oh this is not real hip hop and that's not real hip hop but be honest with yorself.
