Listen below….

Complex: In our latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, R&B legend and eight-time Grammy winner Usher joins Joe La Puma at KITH in NYC. Usher has been topping the charts since he released his debut album at the age of 15, and has expanded his superstardom to acting and business, including a part ownership in the Cleveland Cavaliers.

At KITH, Usher talks about his special relationship with Michael Jordan, which includes performing at his wedding, having him on speed dial, and receiving custom pairs of Air Jordan sneakers. He also discusses the role that sneakers play in impoverished communities and how brands need to do more to make a difference. Later, Usher talks about his part-ownership in the Cleveland Cavaliers and even has a special message for Kyrie Irving. He also reveals that Diddy wasn’t buying him sneakers when he lived with him as a teenager. In the end, Usher spends over $1,100 on six pairs of Air Jordan and Nike sneakers.
