UPDATE 2: Usher and wife split. Divorce papers filed

InTouch Weekly reports that the papers are filed, and the bird has flown the coop (or flown about a year ago?)
“The Grammy winner has been living apart from his wife for nearly a year after almost two years of marriage,” the insider exclusively tells In Touch, adding, “Usher’s primary concern is for his children. He is a great father and just wants to do what is right for them.” The soon-to-be exes have two kids together, Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months. And the insider says that it’s more than just talk — the divorce papers were filed in Atlanta this morning…”
Having babies after you’re already broken up….smh.

UPDATE: According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, there is no divorce filing in the Atlanta court system….
“Atlanta-based pop star Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, have not filed for divorce.
The celebrity magazine In Touch, quoting anonymous sources, announced that Usher and his wife had filed divorce papers in Fulton Superior Court Thursday morning, prompting a flood of media inquiries to the clerk’s office.
No such filing was found in a check of court records, however.”
UPDATE 2: My sources sent me the details on a Fulton County civil court filing, which confirms that Usher did indeed file for divorce on June 12. See the details after the jump….

well…if the child is 6 months old you have to add 9 months onto that. they were probably still together.

usher is stupid if he thought that was going to last. Everyone else saw that it was doomed from the beginning. Now usher’s mom is probably saying, “told you so”.

They probably were together when the child was conceived it would seem.

Usher you could’ve saved urself some money, by listening to ur momma…This broad was married with kids, and left her hubby, and kids to marry you, where’s the morals. I guess she felt this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be married to a celebrity, someone with money that accepted her manly features. no wonder she hasn’t been “twiiting” lately, Usher you just made her day…..”CHA CHING”

It really depends on the terms of the divorce. She’ll get money for the kids but as for her its a toss up. I really think that tummy tuck operation was the last straw that broke the camel’s back

Hopefully You will get custody of your boys and not give her a dime. She gave herself a raise when she had the second son, and apparently you guys weren’t together at the time but she “GOTCHA” Hopefully you got a “PRENUPTIAL” since you didn’t listen to your momma, when she said NO, NO son not so fast and definately “NOT WITH HER.”

kinda sad to hear. They were never given a chance to last to begin with but for some reason i was kinda rooting for them to prove the naysayers wrong…oh well.

Usher hopefully you seek custody of your boys.She already had kids by her ex, let her collect child support from him, I doubt if it keeps her in the life you have made her accustomed to living.
