i didnt wanna believe this when i heard it. It makes me incredibly sad to know that i will never again here Pimp C on a song past 2008. I loved UGK, the sound never changed throughout all of the years. Pimp C was half of that so the UGK era is now gone…Rest In Peace Chad. This news ruined my week..and it really makes you stop and remember “One Day Youre Here, And Then Youre Gone” This is a major wound for the South. I still dont wanna believe it

I am from Houston and live in Houston,TX. I am so touched by New York’s comments about one of our fathers of southern rap. I just happend to be browsing through different radio stations and new that this was a major one. The state of Texas, but ecspecially the city of Houston/Port Arthur is in a state of shock and in deep mourning. We are keeping his family, friends, and Bun B, in our prayers.
