Tyson: the Mike Tyson Documentary trailer…..

(is that a Nas song at the end of this trailer?)
I can not absotutely can’t wait to see this doc on Iron Mike Tyson, done by James Toback who directed one of my favorite movies Black and White (GOAT Mike Tyson cameo, btw). In this doc, Iron Mike talks about his relationship with women, his childhood, the betrayal that is Don King, losing $300 million dollars over the course of 20 years and more….I heard when they screened this at Cannes, it got a standing o.
(thanks to Nigel RealtalkNY for sending over his link)

Yeah that’s Nas. That off the Green Lantern and Nas Nigger Tape. That mixtape was better than his album. It’s called Legendary(Mike Tyson).

Mike Tyson, Michael Jordan, and Bo Jackson were the best athlete entertainers in the late 80’s early 90’s. Great day yet sad day when Tyson lost to Buster Douglas who went on to be nothing but a busta.

When I saw the trailer last wk a couple of things stood out. His speech has improved and he seems to have come full circle. It was funny to see him blast Don doo doo. Many in entertainment industry are given 2nd, 5th and 10 chances. Would be nice to see him again not in the ring but in some format I was never a boxing fanatic but always fascinated by the backstories of boxers It looks like a rollercoaster of emotions doc and looking forward to it.

After watching that trailer,I feel compelled to see this movie.
Speaking of Don King – I’m a huge MMA fan, and I read a story the other day that Don King will now try to work his magic in MMA. I really hope the UFC does their best to make sure he does not succeed like they did w/ EliteXC (the promotion responsible for Kimbo Slice’s fights). The man helped ruin boxing. It’s likely he’ll do the same to MMA if given the chance.

I remember seeing a docu on tnt or something a while back and even that was very good, can’t wait. I hope they don’t try and make an Ali type flick.

Tyson is the product of hype, he can be mad at King but also realize he wouldn’t of made that kind of cash if it wasn’t for King. Don King was like an old school Puffy, people knew how he got down but still continued to deal with him thinking the results would be different for them. Running around hoods across America and trickin off cash is a good way to end up broke. Don King didn’t do that, Tyson did, buying minks, whips, etc. for jumpoffs, smh.
Hate to say it but against any other generation of contenders and champs he would of gotten exposed the way Holyfied exposed him. Foreman, Frasier, Ali, etc. would of beat Tyson down.
Formula for beating Mike= weather the storm for the first couple of rounds, don’t take too many direct shots, don’t let him get inside on you, wear Mike down, and embarass him in the late middle to late rounds.

I remember seeing dude driving on Remsen Avenue in the late eighties/early nineties in Brooklyn in a candy red, drop top Benz with two sexy broads in the back: one black and the other white. He stopped traffic and everybody was going crazy then.

Fuck Officer Ricky. Too Fake For Me. He deserves Everything 50 is doing to Him.
Remember, “I love to pay ya bills, can’t wait to pay ya rent, Curtis Jackson Baby mama i ain’t asking for a Cent?”
Yeah 50 is not done with you Ricky! He Also Has a tape of him and Tia.

Im White for the cracker hater! I also want to say Mike Tyson was a fabulous fighter but Frazier Ali Marciano and foreman would have taken tyson. I would like to see him do mma for a fight because with his name he could make a quick million win or lose. He needs to be told that if he bit anyone then he forfeits his purse so the guy he fights does not have to worry about that.

Cannot find the nice mix song from the documentary. Not the NAS song, the other one that has some kind of trumpet and a nice bass.
Anybody have any suggestions? Wish they put out a soundtrack
