Necole Bitchie posted this TV commercial promoting next week’s Rihanna interview on Good Morning America. I’ve never really seen a video interview with Rihanna so I don’t really know how real she keeps it on camera…especially with a subject matter this sensitive (and I’m obviously not talking about the musical merits of working with Neyo or Jeezy/Dream). Will it be Chris Brown-Larry King frustrating? Or Whitney-Oprah weird?

Usually I give artists the benefit of the doubt and say that their moves aren’t always stunts and marketing ploys….BUT stone wall silence from Rhianna and then all THIS as the new album promo starts?!?!
It just takes credibility and seriousness away from a very important matter.

People are going to say this is all a stunt but THINK ABOUT IT. Rihanna normally promotes the heck out of her cds and of course the question EVERYONE will be asking her is the CB situation.
Chris did Larry King and Angie Martinez to get it out of the way and now she has to do the same. I think this will be the oNLY time she’s talking about it anyway and it probably will be the same run-around like Chris.

Let me tell you how all of this will play out…
First let’s look at the outlet for the return of Robin Fenty. Why GMA & 20/20 over Oprah? O’s mistake was dedicating a whole show to Chris/Rih and pretty much throwing Chris under the bus and painting that pic of Rih being a victim. I think Ms. Fenty took exception to that and I’m sure that she still loves homeboy but can’t be with him for obvious reasons and didn’t appreciate O’s basically shittin on Chris on the show. Even though she would get more viewers on Oprah’s show and possibly add to her fanbase, she probably felt that Oprah would have used her appearance to further hurt Chris. This is in no way to suggest that Diane Sawyer is a lightweight because she most certainly is not. Diane has a way of making people talk themselves into the pens and pencils of comedy writers (eg Whitney’s crack is wack interview). But Diane will handle the interview with a little more tact than Oprah will since Diane is not coming to the table with the history of being a victim of domestic abuse. The GMA talk through will be somehwat chaotic based on the close proximity of her fans and it being live TV. Will it be a sitdown in the studio or a stand up outside with the crowd behind her. One would assume stand up GMA and sitdown 20/20. I’m sure they agreed beforehand to never mention what exactly happened that night to the public. Leave that for everyone to interpret. And since Chris has done a job of keeping his mouth shut, expect Rih to do the same. And this will really be the first time that people really get a sense of what her personality is since this all happened after she has released what is considered to be her most successful project to this date. Before Good Girls Gone Bad, no one cared about Rih’s opinion. Now all she has to do is display strength, courage and redemption without shittin on Chris and she should be fine. The music will ultimately determine whether or not we should be paying attention.

i heard that she wont even discuss the situation with her and Chris. if she does and her album is about to come out im not mad at her either. if they were fighting each other they are both wrong but for him to choke her unconscious and flee the scene thats just dead wrong and allegedly verbally threaten to kill her. publicity, im sure hes trying to get back in the publics good graces, hes just not doing a good job do his inability to be a good speaker and just doing stupid things repeatedly

I don’t think shes going to say much, its just going to be like CB’s LK interview .. But i still find myself exicted to see it “/ ! maybe its the wonder of what happen that got me anxious ? i don’t know “/
@Longwinded pretty much sum it up everything i wanted to say was said .
I did think she was going to go on Oprah .. if not then Tyra maybe? but no .. GMA . thats kinda odd is it not? & 60/60 that an hr of what? talking about your album? or spending the entire hr not dicussing crap !
I guess we will just see then …
