This was dope. Love how he touches on all the issues plaguing hip hop today: snitching, jail, guns, “tough guy” reputations, veterans vs. rookies, etc. The best part is that he does all of that organically, by just talking about himself and what he’s been through. It doesn’t feel preachy or like a speech/lecture.

Derricks camerawork is no joke. And he has the ability to cut through all the bullisht and let the person behind the artist shine. I’m not even mad at him for marrying Melinda. I know she had her eye on me during The Color Purple a couple of years ago. LOL.

Sorry I had a few typos in the first post.
My documentary I Am Choke No Joke will be released in May 2009. So enjoy this next instalment until the DVD drops. Enjoy.
Synopsis for this video.
Old Dirty Bastard is released from jail and greeted by Damon Dash who has a press conference already set up that will announce that ODB will be signing to Roc-A-Fella Records. The funny thing is that ODB had no idea about signing to Roc-A-Fella prior to walking out the jail doors. This video shows proof that ODB was surprised about the news just as RZA and Divine were, being that ODB was still signed to the Wu-Tang Clan. So was this another stunt for Dame Dash to get publicity. That fame is the worst drug known to man, It’s stronger than heroin!!! In the words of Jay-Z.
Enjoy,
Choke No Joke
