Monie Love is my gurl. I’m glad that she was able to pull through since the incident with Young Jeezy.

D-Nice’s vlog is major. If ya’ll haven’t seen the Lords Of The Underground one or the Masta Ace one yet, go and check it out. These are all great, historic stories.

Monie Love was a big reason I started rapping. She’s dope. I love how she has three solid accents now though – British, Brooklyn and some ambiguous middle America black accent.

It pains to think that two legends like D-Nice & Monie Love are moving on to other careers besides making hip hop. Likewise with Chubb Rock and MC Serch becoming radio DJ’s. But such is life in this day and age. The industry is so fickle.
These videos are definitely the best-looking interviews around.

really? I’m happy they’ve got such viable careers. I dont think we need to see everyone keep rapping 10-15-20 years later.

HA! I will be honest, there are times when I miss making music. But I can’t complain. I’ve had an amazing run with djing, photography, and web development. Directing is my 5th career now. I’m always trying to make something happen. Miss I, I appreciate you always helping to spread the word. Thanks!
