True Blood sucked…but Lafayette was “Spectacular”

Lafayette does a leg-healed, vamp-blood-high, Spectacular dance on last night’s ep of True Blood.

I freakin LOVE Lafayette lmao he is the best thing on that show and I agree Tara and Eggs are boring..especially since the girl who plays her is a terrible actress with an evern terrible fake southern accent. But I still love the show can’t wait to find out exactly what Daphne is though.
Oh and J-Setting it even more fabulous in person…my BFF and his boyfriend compete in competitions all the time..they are hella fly too.

so….she had the big scratch on her back…but then at that horrible freak-off party, did the scratches disappear?
I hate that shivery lady with the 3 finger hands. In fact, I get annoyed by that entire plotline…her, tara, eggs, the house servant, the freak parties and the pig.

Yeah last night was garbage…Glad lafayette is alive he makes the show… Sookie is so annoying now the good farm girl act is lame and Tara is at her best spazzing.. If the season has 9-10 more showes and it really takes on a life of its own like season 2 of entourage or the wire then we in good shape but if it just ends in 2 more episodes thats weak…
Oh and entourage SUCKED last night!
WTF is J-Set? can somebody explain that to me?

Yea she had those nasty scratches so did the voodoo lady so I’m assuming Maryann (shaky lady) is that creature thing that attacked Sookie. I agree this whole storyline is weird..cuz somethin is up wit Eggs too. Personally Lafayette makes the show for me he is hilarious…I was hella lost during the party scene when they started smashin pies and eating dirt just random..this better be good I swear or imma be mad.

word lafayette is my fav too even if he is gay i read somewere that mary ann is supposed to be a manaed that gets everyone drunk and kills them ehh i dunno as for sookie and bill there shit is getting boring so is tara and that whole plot line they needa hurry df up and get to the point of whats going on.

lol and yes Mary Ann is a “manaed” whatever that means….and she said in an interview (well the actress who plays her said) that she is indeed the monster with the horns who scratches people.
Apparently she vibrates and soaks up all the kinky energy around her and it gives her power.

ok..I LOVE TrueBlood. Tara annoys me yes…but eggs can get it 15 ways from Sunday…he can get in in the middle of Harold’s Square during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Yes Tara is wack…but in my head I replace her and have great food for thought with me and Eggs.

I don’t know why you guys are hating on True Blood. I thought last night’s episode was great. Yea the shaking woman with her get-em-horny parties is weird, put it makes us ask questions and yearn for the next episode even more.
Although I hate Suki, I am very intrigued by her helping Eric and the impending war between her and the vamps and her bro and the God-camp.
Let Tara have her fun. Her and Eggs won’t last and you know it.

True Blood is the truth. I thought last nights episode was decent. This season has really begun to blossom for the True Blood series. The plot with J. Stackhouse is mad funny too though. He really don’t know which way he wants to go. I hope he plug that blond down though like he used to do them other ones last season. Lol.

Miss Info, have you read the books? If so, is the show sticking close to them, I know Lafayette wasn’t supposed to live, he died in the books.

I read the books…and for the most part the show is sticking to them with the exception of a few new characters. Lafayette did die in the first book but the producers chose to keep him because he was a fan favorite and a really good actor. Although it’s based off of the books the writers are taking the opportunity to steer away creatively when it comes to some parts. For instance this season is based off of Book 2 in the main creature was a maenad which was described as a naked woman with a pig so one would assume that would be Maryann since Tara saw her with the pig naked when she was drunk BUT Sam also hooks up with the meanad in the book and although him and Maryann did in the past I dont think she’s the meanad..But he’s hooking up with Daphne AND she has those scratches..basically I love how the producers keep us guessing even the ones who have read the books cause I do not which one is the meanad but I know there’s something “different” about Daphne that’s for sure.

Maryanne IS a maenad. Her character has all the tell-tell signs of a maenad.
*For those that don’t know (looks like A LOT), a maenad is a female follower of the Greek god Dionysus. He’s pretty much the god of ecstasy and intoxication (wine in particular).
I don’t know how the hell ppl can bitch about a character they know nothing of. If you aren’t educated on the subject, how the hell can you from an opinion? Dumbasses. (clarity: the last part isn’t directed to you Michelle)

Ok according to the books, the Maenad is the lady with the house, Daphne is a Were something, thats how she knows about Sam, she is the same thing, except maybe a wolf or dog or bat or something, Fellowship dudes are going to snatch Sokie maybe and the dude they are looking for will be played by a teen, Everybody my get killed at one of those parties and eric is going to erase Tara and Eggs memory
