Before performing his “All Gold Everything” single as a surprise guest at Cali Christmas 2012, Trinidad James caught up with Rap-Up. Just days after signing his reported $2 million dollar deal with Def Jam, the Atlanta rapper touched on his new home and critics calling him a one-hit wonder.

“I live my life how I’m feeling and it felt right.

I’m really not a one-hit wonder. I’m really not. People chose to like that song,” he said. “People fail to realize that they’re the ones who make a buzz. You can’t really buy a true buzz. To all the people who hate that I’m doing so well, you should hate the people who made me do so well ’cause all I did was make the music and put it out.”
