Travi$ Scott has slowly made a name for himself in 2013. The Texas-native is the latest artist to be featured in a Billboard session earlier this month. During his conversation with Erika Ramirez, the rapper-producer-director details his come up, how he caught the attention of his Grand Hustle and G.O.O.D. Music bosses in T.I. and Kanye West, plus his contributions to West’s Yeezus along with Jay-Z’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail.

Scott touches on his directorial aspirations, a possible Watch the Throne sequel, and his upcoming debut album. Offering his directing services, Travi$ closes out his Billboard session by performing the Owl Pharoah cuts “Uptown” and “Upper Echelon.”
