Video: Kanye tells Jay Leno, “I need to take time off and figure out how to…improve”

(Props to MrWorldPremiere)
Mikey: Ye had some heartfelt words and apologies to Taylor Swift and the rest of world, and it seems like many out there still aren’t ready to forgive and forget. But seeing Kanye visibily shaken and clearly witnessing him have difficulty, struggling to hold back tears and find the right words definitely show his sincerity in this matter. You can almost see Kanye turn into a lost child, this might be another turning point in his career.
Miss Info: wow…Dre/Nahright sent over this link to The Live Feed’s transcript of Kanye West’s chat with Jay Leno. We’ll have the video up soon (but I’m on the west coast so I can’t even watch it yet)….after Obama’s off the cuff comment and this, I actually feel bad for the guy. He made his bed but it’s still alot to deal with.
(Possibly Kanye’s last performance for a while after the jump)
JAY LENO: Have a seat, my friend. First of all, let me say thank you for honoring this commitment. A lot of times, people — things happen. They kind of back out at the last minute, or they have a publicist or someone call and say, “Oh, I’m sorry, my client’s not available.” So thank you for coming and doing this, in light of all the things that have been going on.
Tell me about your day. Have you had a tough day today?
(Laughter.)
KANYE WEST: Yeah, it’s been extremely difficult. I just — just dealing with the fact that I hurt someone or took anything away, you know, from a talented artist or from anyone, because I only wanted to help people. My entire life, I’ve only wanted to give and do something that I felt was right. And I immediately knew in the situation that it was wrong, and it wasn’t a spectacle or just — you know, it’s actually someone’s emotions, you know, that I stepped on. And it was very — it was just — it was rude, period. And, you know, I’d like to be able to apologize to her in person. And I wanted to –
JAY LENO: So when did you know you were wrong? Was it afterwards? as you were doing it? When did it strike you, “Uh-oh”?
More of the transcript after the jump….
KANYE WEST: As soon as I gave the mic back to her and she didn’t keep going.
(Laughter.)
JAY LENO: Let me ask you something. I was fortunate enough to meet your mom and talk with your mom a number of years ago. What do you think she would have said about this? Would she be disappointed in this?Would she give you a lecture?
KANYE WEST: Yeah. You know, obviously, you know, I deal with hurt. And, you know, so many celebrities, they never take the time off. I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour. I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt. My dream of what awards shows are supposed to be, ’cause — and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period. But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve. Because I am a celebrity, and that’s something I have to deal with. And if there’s anything I could do to help Taylor in the future or help anyone, I’d like — you know, I want to live this thing. It’s hard sometimes, so –
JAY LENO: Thanks for coming here, and thanks for doing that.

I’m sure Kanye feels bad as he should but he has a lot of growing up to do. But he’s always had a lot of growing up to do even before his mother passed away…. He took that moment away from another aritst no matter what you think of country music and found away to make this years MTV award The Kanye West and thats sad…
If he really loves music and is in so much pain then he would lean on the production and music making process for support and acceptance and not demand it of the world.. Thats where he’s going wrong.. The look at me now tantrums have to stop…
Historically the most flawed tragic artist just so happen to be the withdrawn, introverted and self destructive and thats the train wreck that is Kanye West!!
At this point he’s more known for his outburst then his music!

Kanye’s ego has gotten bigger album after album, but his music gets weaker and weaker. He’s trying so hard to be a trendsetter and different from other rappers, which he is, BUT, now he’s just trying too hard, to the point that his music becomes progressively worse. Hip-POP is pathetic these days. I can’t stand listening to the radio anymore. Rappers don’t rap now, they sing. WTF? I’ll just stick to listening to Cam and the old Dipset as well as some old Mobb Deep.
Shout out to Miss Info, you’re so damn sexy, baby. LOL

I was actually disappointed with Jay’s performance at the VMAs and on Leno. If you aren’t looking at the screen, it just sounds like someone talking really fast and mumbling. Honestly, Wale was more impressive in terms of enunciating and staying on beat.
It’s tough to perform hip hop music live though. Bands always sound more polished. Look at Green Day; dudes absolutely tore the VMAs down. They really should have closed the show.

Not sure what you expect out of a hip-hop performance. I don’t think you can compare Jay-Z with Green day, they’re so different.
Jay-Z is actually why HipHop is still relevant. He focuses on being a lyricist, which is what hip hop is all about.

‘Ye needs a therapist.
He’s done this at least three times already. Outlandish behavior + blog post apologizing immediately afterwards. Couple weeks later, another tantrum.
It’s a vicious cycle. It won’t end. Stop playing into this dude’s antics.
Love the guy’s music but right now, it’s all talk. Talk ain’t shit.

he shouldn’t try to make people feel bad for him. He should just deal with it and take the criticism that he made.
We are all human. He made a major mistake. It’s good to see he came out and apologized. Please man up, deal with what you did.. don’t make us feel bad. No excuse, you messed up.

Kanye paused for a long time after Leno asked about his mother. Leno actually had to goad him into answering the question. He looked like he was about to cry. Even still, Kanye being Kanye, that whole apology didn’t seem that genuine.. Kinda like someone who realized that he wrecked his PR status overnight and was trying to garner some sympathy back on his side.

I totally agree with you on this. The whole apology was fake & the only reason Kanya got all chocked up when Leno mentioned “What would your mother say” is because I’m sure she mother taught him right from wrong. And he was DEAD AZZ WRONG!!! He played his self more then Lil’ Mama did!!

He apologized, now take it how you want to take it and shut the hell up you pussies! I’m tired of crap like this being blow out of proportion. You know it’s only because it’s the “big, bad black guy” vs “the sweet little white girl”. Come on now, enough is enough.

Your right over the past decade we’ve seen the hip-hop community defend and embrace women beaters, accused murders, rapist and even a what most likely is a pedophile R&B singer but when Kanye is kind of an asshole to a frail white girl people act like he should be lynched. Ye is in the wrong for what he did but I just don’t get how this has gotten so extreme.

Naw, he’s not right at all.
Gangster shyt you’re referring to, is part image/part real, but NEVER played out in mainstream media, especially an awards show. Unless you go to a predominantly black lesser awards show, where people get knifed, jumped or whatever.
This was an incredibly bad faux pas, dissing a fellow artist on live television. STUPID, and wrong.
Notice he didn’t do it to anyone black. And FYI, beyonce needs to stop wearing weaves. Made up/faked up. thaz all.

Do you really this is a race thing? I’m not that naive to think that race is a factor here. Common sense tells people that what he did was wrong — bottom line.
Please note, many in the hip hop community have spoken out in favor of Swift.

If the singer he interrupted was an R&B singer as dark as Kanye, do you think there would be this much of a public outcry? I highly fucking doubt it. It’s definitely a race thing. Go on the blogs, read the youtube comments, twitters, etc White people are posting hateful stuff all over the place because of this.

In case you just stepped out of a cave, racists have been on the net ranting and raving for years. So, the racists are out because of Kanye? Be serious… Kanye’s acts just gave racists fuel to perpetuate hate.
Get back to reality and focus on what Kanye did. The race card is getting old, time that we all grow up and focus on the real issues.
Walk Wit Me Reply:
September 15th, 2009 at 12:18 pm
If you read what I first said, I did acknowledge what Kanye did. It was the first thing I typed. But you can’t deny that race does play a part in this. Kofi made a good point about worse things happening, and no one ever speaking on them. You want to know why these people don’t have anything to say about other incidents? Because they are in the black community, they are in hiphop, they are in R&B. Kanye “crossed the line” to white people because he went outside of that box, and disrespected their precious little white girl. You can deny race all you want, but it’s clear what this is. Had Kanye have done this to someone who was black and in his genre of music, NO ONE WOULD GIVE A SHIT.
destardi Reply:
September 15th, 2009 at 5:06 pm
You are so illogical.
Excuse, after excuse after excuse.
You’re thinking inside the box as much as KKK members, only I’m assuming you’re non-white, so it’s reversed.
1)So would you feel better if “whites” tried to intervene in gangster type rap, and the shyt that goes with it? Or would ignorant blacks (don’t worry, in my world there’s ignorant whites, too) fight against it?
2)Personally, I’m just fine with black on black crime, if it continues to be over the most stupid beefs I’ve ever heard of. Sorry, but I can’t control how people think. Whites doing stupid shyt, deserve exactly what’s coming to them also. Have you said anything, or been outspoken about white executives robbing other whites, or embezzling money?
3)I’m sick of racism, on both sides. I’m sick of people thinking they know all about slavery, and who was involved in it, when they clearly have no freakin clue about history. I’m sick of people ignoring that there are poor whites out there, living a hard life, just like some black folk.
Sometimes when I treat you like an ass, it’s not cuz I’m racist, it’s because I’m JUST AN ASS.

i’ve seen people getting very emotional about this and playing all sorts of race cards, but tell me when was the last time kanye ‘i’m so right, my opinions are superior’ west stepped up to a BLACK PERSON and did this sort of thing to them. don’t tell me that knaye hasn’t been to a lot of awards in his time, some that are even mostly urban, where he’s sat his self rightous justified ass down and endured the show (good or bad). you telling me that kanye thinks that every black artist who wins their awards in all the “urban” categories are deserving. i mean it can be entirely coincidental that he bumrished justice and now taylor swift…so when was the last time kanye west bumrished the stage, because i really want to know. i don’t want to make this into a race thing. i want to know when this dude stepped up on a national/international broadcast of an awards show and did this to an artist in the “urban” genres? because trust me it’s not that no one would give a shit, it’s because kanye west wouldn’t do that. i mean i can blame the drinking all i want but the man is just deeply falwed. no one is perfect and i’m not going about this like he killed the great white hope or a kitten or whatever because taylor has been a grown up for a while now and she has a good head on her and performed fine and went on with it. this whole incident and non story is entirely bs. kanye west messed up. i actually think beyonce should have won or atleast lady freaking gaga, but the fans gave taylor her dues and she’s been selling really really well. this grown man needs to recognize when he needs to just check himself because this whole after the fact thing is just sad. i’m jaded enough that i don’t really care and all this just makes me go, “oh it’s kanye being kanye. laugh out loud,” but at what point is this guy just going to get it in his head.

He only did this twice. Out of two times you’re asking why he didn’t do it to a black person? lol You are too funny. You can ask that question when Kanye does it 5, 10 times and they are all white people… Not only two.

mertz Reply:
September 16th, 2009 at 1:54 pm
no. i can actually ask that question and put it out there and wait for kanye to prove me right or wrong. he can be “drunk” which i think is not quite accurate with someone like him, because the other incidents he’s also had he wasn’t on the sauce. kanye west has a problem and unbenownst to him, or as much as he would like to make it seem like he’s aware of his problem and he’s embraced his faults and isn’t as ignorant as he comes off, the truth is that kanye west is exactly as he comes off. he’s the kind of person who can’t resist the temptation. he can’t just turn himself off and become another version of kanye west because he’s too much himself. like he is deeply deeply rooted in kanye west. he is kanye west. lives in a kanye west world yadda yadda yadda. i’m not trying to psychoanalyze him but i always thought this dude was mad funny trying to get into the production game, writing songs, because i think one of the things he’s always wanted in the world is to be taken seriously and to reach some kind of status/platform. he has it now. he’s not so indifferent than many people, including myself and i can say that you know all humans can aspire to do the same things kanye west did by persevering and embracing creativity and hard work…but this arrogance is amazing. this is just my perspective on him and what he chooses to show the world. sometimes i just want to ask can the real kanye west (or insert any other person’s name) please stand up…but i think my friend’s musings on kanye as a person is right. i don’t think kanye west can be any different. it’s like he doesn’t know how, or that if he does he’s no longer at that place in his life where he recognized his old self. i don’t know. the man is interesting to observe. i don’t think it was a race issue and i’m putting bets on the next time he fucks up, because yeah he’s that exact type of person. i don’t disagree with what he said. i disagree with how he said it and went about his actions. yeah he ruined a moment for me that had me going from laughing to shocked to shaking my head and all the above, but that’s just because i mean i feel a righteous urge to do what is right and be inspiring and leave a footprint on the world and all that stuff, but i don’t what do you call it impose myself on others or force situations because one of the understandings i have from living in this world and participating in the community of being, is that everyone has their own opinions, right or wrong, but it would be wrong of me to think that it’s my right to impart my thoughts on others. that’s one of the problems i have with this whole social media networking platforms and this era, but i keep it to myself until it comes up in a discussion about said topic and is relevant. i have thoughts too. i’m not big like kanye nor do i have his platform or his level of ego, but if i thought that I WAS ALWAYS RIGHT AND I SHOULD TELL EVERYONE ALL MY THOUGHTS JUST BECAUSE I HAVE TO OR BECAUSE I AM SO PASSIONATE AND DON’T KNOW HOW TO CONTROL MYSELF, if i thought I WAS ALWAYS SPEAKING OUT ON ISSUES FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NO VOICE BECAUSE ONCE AGAIN I’M THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN BE RIGHT ABOUT SOMETHING, not only would my mom be praying for my soul and making sure i was going to confession and doing a lot of religious crap, not only would my mother do as she does everyday and tell me to try and understand every single person in this world, have patience and keep my talking to a minimum (because i talk a lot sometimes), she would smack me and i would be put in check. if i ever become so ignorant on that level, i hope somone can step in and make me see the light because i would really hate to live my life with my head stuck so far up my ass that i don’t see things in the full hd 360. i don’t know who helps kanye get through things or talks to him, and i don’t know what self checks kanye has, but if he doesn’t have anything then he better consider them because this dude has “problems, problems” as he would sing it. if i was buying into consipracy theories, i would find it more interesting that out of all the awards show kanye has been to he’s now done this twice at two mtv awards and to people not in his “genre”, and to people who are not african american and so on. i asked that question because it doesn’t have to be a limitless amount of kanye acting out incidents. 1 is enough. 2 is enough. it’s funny how he gets away with a lot of shit. but i guess he’s a “celebrity” so it’s all gravey and water under the bridge and all that fuckery. civility has been dead for a long ass time and it’s hilarious that we’ve had such good examples this summer. i mean i can’t stand people and i can be a huge bitch…but i don’t go around acting like an asshole either. it’s one of the things i thank my mom and dad for. i may not be perfect but and for all my moral imbalances, i do have some sense of fucken commen decency.

Why are people acting like they’ve never made more than one mistake before… I am completely against what Kanye did and found it beyond rude and disrespectful, but I find it even more disturbing the hate that has come out of so many people. Most people know someone with a huge ego or someone that thinks its always their time to speak their mind, what makes Kanye less human than those people? Given he is a pubic figure and should at least make an attempt to get his “issues” together, but damn, some of the things on Twitter are way overboard, so now he’s a nigger…really… Why does no one want to help Kanye, he’s obviously going through some shit, who shows up on a red carpet with a bottle of henny *cue warning bells*

How convienent for him to say his “hurt” from his mothers passing for sympathy!
When hes done egotistical things like this when she was alive.
Kanye West is NOT sorry cause he hurt someone. He’s sorry cause of the backlash!
Was he sorry when he felt he deserved album of the year over the other artist? Was he sorry for being arrogant and hurting other people at the grammys? NO! Hes only sorry cause he looks like a damn fool!
Kanye West is extremely talented, but hes arrogant and he has NO respect for other people. He is a true narcissist with a serious grandiosity complex!
When I get my psych degree in a few years he can come lay on my couch for $100 an hour and try to figure this thing out!
He wont get any more of my money. I dont care how good his music is. I wont support that.
Good Luck Kanye West ^_^

lol brittany. goodluck with psych!!!!! and yeah i agree with you. i mean the guy is an artist and as one myself i know i’m crazy as hell, but like fuck me if i do what this guy does and get away with it. my mother would have me repenting and praying for my soul and i would have to go through a lot of catholic bs just to become a better person. i’ve been there and done that and stepped in shit and put my foot in my mouth. all that. people have been there…but doesn’t it all seem like a familiar pattern with him. this whole big asshole complex and fuck people. fuck people cause i’m so good, i’m so better, me me me me mother f’n me. lol. he double talks and i don’t even think he realizes that aspect of himself. i like the fact that he’s an artist but i’m not a fan of his. he makes me tired. i can’t take all that ego. i didn’t see this apology (tried to stay up and watch leno…saw jerry, but i had things to do) but i’ve seen it a couple places and i wish i felt sad for him but i don’t really. he doesn’t give a shit about me and i have people in my life i care about that i give a shit about. this dude can take his self righteous (coming from another self righteous person) pompus self and shove it where the sun don’t shine. ignorant people are not alright.

man, this whole thing has made me mad since it happened because of the racial shit. it’s funny i wonder if all the white haters will try to go back to being “post-racial” now that kanye has been on leno. damn white people love to say niggr. i think it’s time that niggr officially became the new term for white people that would really fuck up their heads.

This has nothing to do with race. If a white artist had done that, it would still be an issue with me. Its about respecting someone at all times. Kanye can’t say Taylor isn’t talented. He had an opinion on a video, that was just his opinion. A lot of people would argue that Swift’s video was better than Beyonce’s. The award wasn’t for best song by a female artist, it was for best video, and the single ladies video was actually lame. Just three chicks dancing around in an empty studio. What’s so damn special about that?

lol i didn’t think taylor should have got the award for that video (even though it was better than the ones for her two last singles) because it thought she was going to be nominated for that stupid love story song that has been playing all fucken year everywhere, but you must have heard kanye say that “beyonce should have won that award because single ladies is ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS OF ALL TIME”…and i love beyonce but did you note the conviction in his voice. it was an amazing (unfortunate) situation lol but he really thinks single ladies is ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS OF ALL TIME. man. sometimes he talks and i can’t tune out fast enough. don’t get me wrong i think kanye the artist is very talented, even if he’s not breaking any boundaries or pushing himself. but the person…the person makes me shake my head. i guess we just have to remember him not for his self righteousness that has lead him so far in life (i mean if the dude didn’t think he was hot shit he would be eaten alive by the industry and he probably wouldn’t make it) but for all the other good things he does. kanye west actually does things not all about himself. lol. it’s true.

The point is Obama should not have said anything. IF nothing positive, then say nothing. His concern should not be about celebrities period. And unless you have been hiding under a rock our economy, health care and soldiers at war are more important topics than kanye. once again, he should not comment on frivolous matters but if so say something positive or not at all. Thats pretty simple.

no. lol. the point is that obama should have said what he said…maybe not with that word but it’s no different than what people have been saying (not that it’s excusable to curse, but i do it so i don’t really give a fuck). it was OFF THE RECORD. it was a CONVERSATION. yeah it came back to bite him but no one really cares about this because the interview which is actually what he was there for DIDN’T CENTER AROUND KANYE WEST OR THE VMA’S OR TAYLOR SWIFT. it didn’t center around something as irrelevant as an awards show (even if civility is an important aspect of society)but probably on matters that MATTER. fuck. just because all people care about is smut and gossip and what other people think and all this bullshit surface talk, doesn’t mean that obama shouldn’t have said it. the fact is he already did. and it was taped (unknown to him. that’s first amateur mistake), so what really are you going to do about it. i don’t disagree with kanye or the president, or 50 cent for that matter (lol. violence musn’t be condoned but it sure was funny to see him lay it all out there that he would like to pop kanye one time one day somewhere…and it was interesting to see all the young kids laughing…although some of them were thinking is he really serious). kanye west can get on the stage and say that taylor swift shouldn’t have won and beyonce is better and whatever crap he said but obama can’t really say what he thinks about what happened in a conversation before an intervie? the better half of me would agree with you and say that obama shouldn’t let all his thoughts be known and should play the “i’m sorry but i can’t answer that question” game, but the other part of me is saying who gives a shit. just like kanye he said what he really felt and who am i to take that away from him. he’ll get better at giving “no comments” the longer he does this. aside from that what he said made me laugh and i thank him for that. it’s a non issue. this whole thing is a non issue. if kanye west had went on his blog, or sent a tweet, or mentioned to one of the many paps outside the venue that taylor swift shouldn’t have won, etc…i would have no problem. just like if joe wilson had instead waited till a press scrum or made his opinions known otherwise an elsewhere instead of right in the fucken middle of obama’s speech because he was oh so overcome with emotions (rolling my eyes), and had said “the president lied/the pres is a liar/he is lying,”etc…and then even maybe backed up that positon with something substantial instead of saying “you lie” (like homer does on the simpsons. lol @tomforman picking that syntax up)and then sitting there without continuing because he gained some moment of clarity (i would have rather liked him to have made this into more of a spectacle)like a clam fish. everyone knows interruptions are unbecoming. it doesn’t matter what you say…it’s just that act that counts more and might even count against you.
did obama malign kanye west by saying he’s a jackass for what he did? what if it’s his opinion (like how kanye also has opinions)and what if he believes that to be true. he didn’t interrupt his interviewer because he felt the world had to know that kanye west is a jackass…if he needed to do that then maybe he should have sent a statement to the press.
anyways i’m sure obama was sitting there watching the vma’s like how many people were sunday evening…not likely.
September 14th, 2009 at 11:57 pm
Kanye is a real clown, period. He and his flunkies need to be outrageous in order to stay relevant. Would anyone really give a damn about him if not for outrageous stuff? Would anyone click on Amber Rose pics if she weren’t always half-naked? That’s what keeps them in the media– it’s all ego-driven.
He produces OK music, but hopefully people will make him pay for his actions — not buying his stuff.

Possible outcomes from Kanye’s Rant:
1. Pink won the award and broke his jaw. Would have been the second time, first time from a female singer and far more entertaining.
2. Redneck country music fans twitter about Kanye being an obnoxious black man. Then prove they’re rednecks by threatening to lynch him.
3. The leader of the free world calls him a jackass.
4. Amber Rose gets dumped to clean up his image.
A right hand from from Pink would of shattered this guy’s “EGO” right quick.

I just hope Kanye does get some help and learn from it so that this will never happen again. I also hope that other people realize what they are about to say before they do say out loud. We may have the right to speak our mind but didnt they know they could also hurt other people’s feelings. Be your better self

a talented yet conceited artist with an over-inflated ego and a Jay-Z cosign pulled a jerk move.. wow, that’s unprecedented lol.
Regardless of it all, no one who viewed that classless MTV moment is immaculate enough to roast this guy for his AVOIDABLE lapse in good judgment.. He, without a doubt, fucked himself when he let dickriding Jay & Bey motivate him to pull a stunt like that.. and he’ll obviously pay for it, judging by America’s stance toward his DOJA-driven actions, including our President’s (come on guy, are you serious? you have too much down time.. just run our fuckin’ country, nothing else.)..
But stop mentioning Pink like she has some uncanny intimidation factor.. last time i checked, she wasn’t Floyd Mayweather.. so honestly stop talking as if she’d actually set his ego straight with a right hook..
Wit all those celebrity reactions,It’s real easy and convenient to throw stones when you don’t have worry about being in the circle.. so all those artists dropping their two-cents on the matter– unnecessary. Yet, that kind of seems a crucial characteristic of showbiz… “unnecessary” drives controversy, which in turn drives attention, which in turn drives revenue.
Like a the last twenty other people before had mentioned, let’s just move on from it.. celebrities make moments, good and bad. Why should this one stand out more than the past, present, and future tirades?
Oh yea, and the race issue? Come on, really? i’d comment, but why give pointless garbage any undue attention…

Lamest way to remedy the situation. If you did wrong just man up and admit it. What is this BS about taking time off and reflect? Sounds like your publicist came up with that Hollywood type maneuver. I don’t by it and I guarantee you lost a lot of fans by pulling this 30 second tantrum. You can only pull this crap so many times. It’s like the little boy crying wolf. To people saying it’s not that serious, should put them self in Ms. Swifts shoes first before talking. That was some despicable rude behavior he exhibited on the VMA’s.

yes. this is exactly what my friend was saying and i actually had to think about it because i was only thinking about it in terms of ego, but she was thinking about it in terms of kanye doing this for his career because taylor outsold him and people aren’t riding his dick like before no more. like that kanye light is still there but just a little more tarnished cause people realizing who he is. i think the whole thing is too funny and too good for comedy. he’s the best…not the best for being a decent person, but for being flawed like me. makes him a little bit more relatable. i’m not as arogant and all that other stuff as he is but he’s by no means a special case. he’s just like one of many or everyone else. not everyone can be nice. yeah people can try, but seriously it’s not because he’s a breath of fresh air, but it’s mostly because he’s real…he’s an ass but he’s still real albeit a lot convoluted.
this whole after the fact thing is dumb. i try to recognize things before i do them because if i lived my entire life after the fact realizing oh i shouldn’t have done that, when i just should have been doing instead and not acting like a foolish turd, i would be wasting a lot of time. it’s alright for people to use their head a little instead of let their emotions rule them. it’s hard but it has to be done. imagine if we all acted out on our emotions. wow. i don’t want to live in that world. i don’t want to live in a all rational world either but you can’t say being reasonable doesn’t make life a whole lot easier to live. seriously.

the problem is, when something like this happens, you usually can only take the word of the first day’s observers
because everyone else seems to get brainwashed afterwards by the media blitz
its not racist, it had nothing to do with black or white…..
and word@the kanye performer, person argument….its the biggest problem with going out on a limb for anyone in the industry if you dont know em outside of their image…sometimes i think part of the real talent is how you deal with your success..(and not even how you handle your downfalls, cause everyone has those)
To test the true character of man, give him power and see what he does with it…

This is what happens to some people who make it big when they’re young. No one ever calls them on their awful, arrogant behavior on a day-to-day basis, so they develop an inflated view of their own opinions about everything. They can’t believe it when the world disagrees with them.
To begin with, Kanye needs the grown-up version of a good long spanking. He should not be forgiven so easily. He needs to learn that you can’t just erase bad actions by saying ‘I’m sorry.’ Then he needs to embark on some serious, extended self-examination. And he needs to be around people who aren’t afraid to tell him the truth. He needs to understand that the flatterers in his life are lying to him, that his real friends will call him out when he acts like a jerk.

Then instead of going on a break you went to Hawaii & made your current medicore cd 808. Again no 1 made u. U then released it. Again no 1 made u. Im sure def Jam woulda been understanding if u wanted time off.
KW’s tour’s starts in Oct so his *ss aint goin on break.
KW is just mad bc his cd has sold less than Taylor’s & they were both released last year. KW has just barely gone platinum, while Taylor Swift’s has sold 4milli in the US & had 2 #1 songs.
