Tiny Cottle talks about visiting T.I., The BET awards debacle, etc on ATL radio
Posted by Miss Info under life beyond rap , quotes , relationships and family , things I like[18] Comments
Tiny talks to Ryan Cameron from Atlanta’s V-103 today…Cute how her father (who was in The Tams) pointed out and coached Tiny’s singing career before she was in Xscape. Tiny says that her way of dealing with his Alzheimers is to treat him the same as usual… : (
Tiny also talks about Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae’s tantrum backstage at the BET awards which led to that controversial performance. “What was the big to-do about? That’s her daddy?”
Tiny is hosting her birthday party in Atlanta…and Tiny says that she spoke to T.I. earlier but as far as she knows, she doesnt have a curfew tonite, lol. Damn, Tip!

“What was the big to-do about? That’s her daddy?”
Tiny. Sweetheart. “Every Girl” is probably the last song people wanted to hear at what turned out to be a Michael Jackson tribute event. Plus I mean, the lyrics on the record weren’t conducive to the cause. Never mind the fact that the lyrics themselves are raunchy as hell. Too raunchy to have his freaking daughter around.

only ghetto folks is gonna think nothing was wrong with them 11 and 12 year old’s rocking out to that song.
tiny and tia aka the baby momma show is the most ghetto show ever on t.v. it has no point, they should have just gave tiny her own show. Cause at least she has a story.
If you want to see that show all you got to do is this. go out in the hood and follow around hood rats.

What you have to understand BrooklynNucca, both Tiny and Toya did not know their kids were going to be on stage with Lil wayne, let alone while he was performing that song. The whole thing happened in a matter of seconds, where Wayne’s daughter was very upset she was not there to accompany her father for his award. So to please his little girl, he told her she could come with him on stage while he performed. No one was trying to cause trouble or disrespect to these children. You all amaze me at how much fuss and stupidity been made about this.No one’s intentions were malicious! GET OVER IT AND MOVE THE FUCK ON WITH YOUR LIVES!

“Please his little girl”? He’s the father, so he makes the rules. If anything its shows how much of a soft guy he is if he’s willing to let a little kid moan and bitch and have a tantrum over a little performance. What’s next she starts crying because Wayne wont let her come and hang out at the club he’s chilling at? Come on. It’s controversial simply because its friggin weird man.

WOW smh
There is a faction of our people that will just never get it. Damn shame too because this means we all have to be aware of those people. Not only be aware but act accordingly an make it our business to police our own families, because outside forces who live in a world of foolishness, wish to infect others with their brand of ignorance.
My mom once told me the women you choose to bare your and your name represent you. This saddens me and offends me that he chose such a dumb broad.

Lil Wayne is a professional, and should also be a father. What kinda father can’t say no to his kids? Why did BET even allow the girls to go on stage in the first place, even if Lil Wayne wanted them there?
Bottom line, the whole thing was stupid. I can understand the genuine outrage. A massive ball was dropped by both BET and Lil Wayne.

I have a hard time believing any of these people have their head on straight. I can only imagine one of the girls friends turns to her, “That ‘every girl’ joint is hot. I suppose your mom was one of those girls he would fuck all around the world”.
The entire song is about “eat p*ssy”, the kids shouldn’t have been in the theater, let alone the stage.

Wow…for once I have no comment….Sike!!!…lol no for real being that I am a mother myself, I really think it was very inappropriate to have those little girls on stage. Especially with them saying stuff like “In about three years holla at me Miley Cyrus” Most little girls idolize Miley (hanna montana)So if he knew he was gonna have his daughter and her friend on stage he should of change to a more appropriate song, but do he have any appropriate songs?? I just feel they shouldnt have been up there I dont care how much they would of threw tantrums and whined it would of been “Hell to the Naw”

To all the holyier than thou @$$ bloggers: Stop looking at the details of the situation because if you look deep enough into anything its bound to stink! At the end of the day. This is the attitude we need to have: “I’m me. you’re you. I do my thing, you do yours. I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations, you’re not here to live up mine. I’m doing what I feel is appropriate for my own life, following my own values, idelas and beliefs even though they may not conform to yours. I’m unique: committed to being my own person, having my own space, and doing my own thing”!!!!!!!! CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On one hand people are rightfully outraged because Wayne allowed underage girls on stage while performing an adult oriented song, yet parents all over the country allow their kids to listen to the same inappropriate song and songs like it all year long- and there is no outcry.

Whats up with Lil Waynes Daughter??
Am I the only one who found it strange that she “needed” to be on stage with her father? Like she “needs” that attention. Thats not natural…a lot of celebs dont even bring their kids in the spotlight and heis has already develpoed a need for that attention. Thats not a good thing…
If I was him next year I wouldnt even bring her, Cause she has to understand. Her FATHER is a star! NOT HER! Thats his life…not hers. She may be settung herself up for heartache getting too much out of that kind of “attention”.
Mustafa I AGREE!!!

i just feel that the entertainment industry is fast fast fast anyways. when i was watching the awards and listening to that song, and i seen the girls go on stage, i was like why are they mouth moving the song, there like 10-12. Im 17 and with any cuss words or nasty words in songs come ont he radio my parents turn them off. With all do respect. So that means lil wayne should be a father and gave her some mula then lol. Coming onto the stage with a song like that while the girls are getting there two step on in the background was totally out of the question & im sure you guys aren’t the only ones talkin bout this. imagine how many ppl at the awards where talkin bout that. But by all means ppl gonna do what they want regardless, and its no point of talkin bout it, no matter how much it wasnt right, but cuz we cant change it lol u feel me. Ps. tiny & toya may or didnt know the girls where going on stage, but although that was a surprise to many of us, they couldnt do anything about it, toya just want wayne to be a good father to there daughter, reather its giving her what she want. i mean i think they did bad enough letting them pick there own clothes like its halloween. i mean its cute but let the costumes wait until the group start. Dont! come on stage looking like the cream truck melted on you.
