Ahh, the weather is finally turning, the toes and tank tops are out, and the concert scene is heating up! Now I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned before that I went to Miami for Memorial Day Weekend once and almost committed myself to a nunnery because it was such a traumatic experience….which is why I always try to stay local for that holiday of f–kery. And lucky for us, Tri-staters, my boy Sickamore, along with XXL (check out details to buy tickets!), has put together the first of his monthly The Famous Factory concerts…..

Next Friday, May 28th, you can see Vado, Sean Price, Currensy, Rich Hil, Push Montana, Najee, and Jasmine Solano……all at Public Assembly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! (ps: I totally recommend a pre-show shrimp taco at La Superior nearby).

By the way, if you were hoping to see Vado at The Vault in Harlem yesterday, he couldn’t make it because…

According to Vado, he was held up in Florida, filming with Killa….along with Stacey Dash and Lisa Raye. Aww! I can’t blame him for that, I guess. But he promises to make it up to the Vault and Goliath teams and the Crooks and Castle crew soon. I’m sure we’ll hear about the resolution.
