T.I. performing at a Sundance Film Festival party
Posted by Miss Info under concerts , videos[16] Comments
this guy is cramming in 4 years of public life into like 6 months. Is it because of the MTV camera crew? Because I wonder if I were in his shoes…would I be tempted to just sit at home with my family, wear fleece, and watch movies until my lawyer came to walk me in?**
Thanks to Mark Scar from Grand Hustle for reaching out with the clip
**(who am I kidding, that’s what I want to do every day and I dont have a bid hanging over my head)
PS: on another note, I keep reading that the documentary about Lil Wayne’s drug addiction was a critical hit at Sundance. I didnt know the doc was gonna get so real. Can’t wait to see it.

T.I. is a pseudo-intellectual, but he is a lot better at most of these guys at pronouncing words and using them correctly. I read an article recently where Jim Jones said “overcede.” It’s so pathetic. For no amount of luxury or notoriety would I forsake class. Did T.I. even speak on that video? I didn’t watch. This rant is born of all the rhetoric he’s been spewing lately.

I care too…
I got so much love for T.I. It just doesn’t seem fair that he should have to leave at the height of his success. He’s supposed to be performing S.L.U and with J.T at the Grammy’s isn’t he? At least he’s having doing some big things before he leaves. This past year has been one of the most productive in Tip’s career. I guess you dont realize what you have until you only have 2 months more of it.. :-/. Is he gettin locked up like dead on March 1st? This is sad. Yeah he made a mistake but the game’s gonna miss him & so are the fans. I guess you should be thankful though that its just a year. I hope when he comes out he doesn’t have to do too much to regain his position in the game. And I hope he’s actually interested. I hope this isnt his last album.

I think TIP has enough “stuff” <- (for lack of a better word) lined up for the next year that we really won’t miss him. He’ll still be all over the TV with videos and such, he should still be releasing music, etc.
It’s really a messed up situation that he’s in and it was a very bad error of judgment on his part why he’s in said situation.
It has to hurt to leave your family for a year when your lady just had a baby, your career is going well, etc.
I just pray for TIP and hope that his 366 days flys by for him.

Anyone get the vid or find a re-up?
T.I. gets respect from my simply because, in the midst of all his wealth and fame, he still decided to make a positive song (live your life) while the vast majority of his peers were spewing garbage glorifying the thug life and disrespecting anything they could think of.

Like T.I said if your facing jail time and you constantly think about it you end up doing more time mentally than what you’d actually have to do.
T.I accepted the situation for what it is at the end of the day, he took responsibility for his actions by admiting to his mistakes and he’s cool to take whatever purnishment is handed down to him, thats wsup ya dig.
Another rapper in his shoes would have probably gone on a “NO SNITCHING CAMPAIGN” and F*CK The POLICE Tour, which would have resulted in more jail time. This kinda reminds me of when 2 Pac went to jail with his music high up in the charts.
I salute T.I for handling the situation the way he did.

Yeah, that snitch shit IS stupid. But what no one is willing to address, is that it’s people like TI who perpetuated it to sell records. But when it bites them in the ass, everyone acts like it’s silly that they should be accountable for their statements and behavior before.
TI’s a phony.
