This Really Happened: Anthony Weiner Rides Float During NYC’s West Indian Day Parade

I really can’t believe my eyes. Earlier today, scandal ridden runner up for Mayor, Anthony Weiner, rode atop a float at this year’s West Indian Parade in New York City. Not only that, Weiner was also on the mic giving shoutouts and making gunshot noises while Dancehall music blasted from his float. New York this is not a good look.
“Anybody here from Jamaica? Anybody here from Barbados? Anybody here from Guyana?” he called, island-style. Then he gave it up: “Anybody here from Staten Island?”

i might vote for son.no current candidate or the last few mayors would have even been comfortable grabbing the mic like that(pause)and chopping it up.salute this weird nigga.

I don’t have a problem with this whatsoever. Who says the mayor has to be a conservative white guy/gal (man/woman) with a stick up his butt?
Some may find his actions as a mockery or having a lack of discernment; but how many mayoral candidates would even participate, much less be comfortable at an event such as this?
