Ah ha! And they said Nas cant make radio singles, lol. I really like this song, produced by Polow the Don and featuring Keri Hilson on the hook….lovely way to kick off the weekend.

I like the song a lot, but I wonder if his hardcore fanbase will get it?
Also, I wonder if the pop market will buy into Nas making a concious/commercial radio song? I know he pulled it off 12 years ago but 2008 is a different story.
Hopefully it gets a push though, but I can see people hating this as well.

Really weird on first listen because this isn’t what I expected at all. But I will have to play it a few more times before I come up with a well thought out opinion. Hope radio picks it up… Nas murders his verse as usual.

As a lonnnnnnnnnnng time nas fan i can say its defiantly refreshing to hear this.
I was a bit worried when i heard the other 2 leaks.
this shit is dope, wonder when it was recorded though, he talks about the recent album name change. as jap pop as it may be the shit is dope.

I’m afraid to tell you that “Hate Me Now” sucked…THIS and “Fried Chicken” are dope. Nas is addressing some extremely important issues that too many other “emcees” are scared to do. This is the type of shit that we NEED to hear. You can still dance later.
