Pop fave Bruno Mars’s new video “Grenade” is all about the “woe is me, I would do all this for you, but you wouldn’t do the same for me”-shtick that we have all been on both sides of. In reality, that line definitely won’t get you any more passion from the person you’re pining over. It reeks of pathetic, and, personally, gives me a rash….but in terms of this song, it’s catchy : )

That’s the problem with many women, and why you see them single with no man claiming them. They aren’t mature enough to take sensitivity and emotional development as a masculine trait. Masculinity should be redefined. Unless you want to require all women to keep their mouths shut, never challenge any man, not own property, let her parents choose her husband, and stay a virgin until marriage. After all, that definition of femininity is just as old as your definition of a man.

I actually had no interest in listening to this until I saw Info rip the heart out this song’s message. After listening to it yeah I guess it’s a lil extra in terms of wanting sympathy.
Info, I’d love to know a few tracks that you think show a more balanced sense of emotional expression.
