It’s weird, but Culture Club cross-dressing Brit Pop god(dess) Boy George manages to turn Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games” into a twangy country ballad. I still like it though because it’s totally rando. (via buzzfeed)
Unrelated/Related: So are there really neck-and-hand-tatted hooligan boys who go around hugging up on Beth Ditto types? Or is that just in movies like Neds or edgy fashion mags? I mean, I like the idea, just wondering if that open-mindedness is real.

lol thank you. So what kind of show would you watch? Should I just talk in a podcast? Or should I do a video series where I discuss the latest news? But it seems so one-sided. The best part of the comments section is the back and forth….

You know what would be dope is if you do something similar to the Chelsea Lately format , Where you Mikey Fresh , Mr. North and other people whom your cool with just like a round table discussion. and you can have an interactive connection with your viewers like how Sway does with Rap Fix. and I would be more than happy to intern/work for you =). Cause at this point I feel that your way more than a hip hop blog , but more of an accurate source of pop culture

No disrespect to Mikey and Mr. North, but Info you need to do more posting. This was a great post. I love Lana Del Rey, just surprised that someone (Boy George for that matter) is covering the song already… BTW, am I the only one that is disappointed that Lana’s “National Anthem” wasn’t more prominent this summer? I thought that I would see it in commercials and on the radio (92.3 in NYC).

I know I know…I’m trying. I wish I could sit in a cafe during the day and just share my thoughts and ask for yours. I’m definitely going to try to do that more. We’re working on a long over-due re-design. and I’m looking for more help (writing, tech-side, video editing).
