After founding band member Oliver Sim joined Solange in London last month for a cover of Nicole Wray’s “Make It Hot,” British Indie Pop outfit The xx returned the favor to the Knowles clan by performing their own rendition of Beyoncé’s 4 album cut, “I Miss You” (which was co-written by none other than Frank Ocean), in Austin earlier this week. Of course, they applied their distinctively dreamy aura to the record and slowed down the tempo superbly. Warning: this may jerk a tear or two.
