The Weeknd received a major belated Christmas gift this week. The XO crooner’s “Starboy” smash-hit is now the No. 1 record in the country. The lead single off the Toronto singer’s new album tops the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. Featuring Daft Punk, the song rises from No. 2 to No. 1 in its 14th week on the Hot 100, becoming The Weeknd’s third No. 1 record on the Hot 100. “Starboy” the Beauty Behind the Madness singles “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills,” which became No. 1 records in 2015 for a total of nine weeks.

It’s also a big moment for Daft Punk, as “Starboy” becomes their first chart-topping track. The French EDM duo of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter previously peaked at a No. 2 for six weeks in 2013 with their Pharrell Williams-collaboration “Get Lucky.”

For The Weeknd, the news comes weeks after his latest album STARBOY debuted No. 1 on the album charts in early December.
