The Weeknd is a soldier for his fans. Against doctors orders, he skipped out on recommended vocal rest and performed the first of several sold out shows last night in New York City. He had the whole crowd in the palm of his hand the whole time. The massive Terminal 5 building was packed on all 3 floors, and sounded more like a Weeknd singalong. He seemed especially proud to be performing in the Big Apple and took time to acknowledge his love for NYC. Weezy hates us… Abel loves us.

“I don’t know if yall know my condition right now, but my doctor tried to make me quit this your early,” The Weeknd told the NYC Crowd. “But I looked him in the eyes and I said F&CK THAT!”
