A Sopranos prequel is officially happening. After years of speculation, David Chase is finally set to bring his iconic TV series to the big screen with the help of New Line Cinema, according to Deadline.

Tentatively titled The Many Saints of Newark, the movie is set in 1960s Newark amidst violent racial animosity between Italians and African-Americans. Chase co-write the script with fellow Sopranos screenwriter Lawrence Konner.

Of course, the project is still in its early stages so there’s no word on who will star in the film and if we’ll see any familiar faces from the original series, but Deadline reports that “some of the beloved characters from the series will appear in the film.” Tony’s parents, Giovanni “Johnny Boy” and Livia Soprano, are likely to have central roles.
