The D.J.'S have always been the backbone of hip hop going back to the 70's when they were the the main focus not the rappers. Study your hip hop history because Kay Slay has been around the game before a lot of your cats were even born. Kay slay also was a graffiti writer in the late 70's(Style Wars) so he has been around the culture since it's inception so give that man some respect. Kay Slay is right. Record sales are decreasing and non traditional avenues are going to clear a little bit of room for artists who decide to control their own product. So if your a dj and you don't get on board when a nigg* gets hot, fans will listen to someone else. We don't care that you gettin doe, just don't shut down the new cats cause they not connected.
