UPDATE: News coverage of today’s funeral in Oklahoma City
Jayson R at MTVnews transcribed the speech and wrote about the show…
“[These songs are for] problems that we’re going through … hard times — Who would ever have thought that these same songs would have to help me?…
People call me, they say, ‘Well, you need to do this, you need to do that,’ and about 50 people, a hundred people that I ain’t never talked to in the past three years call me out the blue, talking about, ‘I just wanna tell you that I’m giving you support and stuff.’ And I appreciate the support and all that, but don’t suggest what I’m supposed to do. ‘What you need to do, you just need to stop touring, you need to go home and clear your head.’ Go home to what, motherf—–?…
‘Because if they see you out, and you go outside and then the media catches it.’ Man, f— the media! Nobody can tell me anything about, you know, when they talk about celebrity lives and real lives and the difference between always being on TV — right now, you can’t tell me nothing.
And there’s nothing that she loved more than to come to the shows and scream louder than any fan, because she was my first fan that was screaming before anybody else, and my first manager,” he said. “If she was here, she would tell me to ‘get on that stage and kill it.’”

Big props to Kanye for two reasons, one for telling everybody who criticizing him to go fuck them selfs if he wants to hit the stage every night of the week then that’s his businesses you can’t tells someone else how to morn. And two for playing Journey “Don’t Stop Believing” witch is probably the number one guilty pleasure song ever.

Julee, u are a fool. listen to what he says.. I mean, if u were the dudes mom and first ever manager, looking down from where ever, would u seriously feel disrespected if he didn’t cancel his world tour- something that you’d both spent most of your lives building towards? would u as his mother prefer him to sit at home wallowing in misery because your gone? Do u have any grasp of how important it is to remain active after loosing somebody? everybody deals with grief differently.. some crumble and others march stronger. I find it amazing at a time when I respect the guy more than ever, people can still try and find ways to hate on him! mind u, “There’ll always be haters, that’s the way it is. Hater n****s marry hater bitches n’ have hater kids.”

Whatever Mr. West’s choices were, I’m sure his momma would of been proud of him no matter what.
