The plot thickens: Jay-Z namedrops Dame Dash, Jim Jones, The Game and Jaz-O on his BP3 intro
Posted by Miss Info under album preview , beef , concerts , hmmm....? , laugh with , quotes , videos[94] Comments
Hov performed at the Pearl Theater in Las Vegas last night…and spit the intro to Blueprint 3 acapulco….which is when things got verry interesting: Danielson from the LondontoMK blog hit me with footage, and DreOS/NR had this transcript on Nahright…
“I ain’t talking about gossip/
I ain’t talking about Game/
I ain’t talking about Jimmy/
I ain’t talking about Dame/”
…
“Dame made millions/
Even Jaz made some scraps/
He coulda made more but he ain’t sign his contract/”
the rest of the freestyle had all the expected ooh-ahh lines too. I think the Game thing is a bit out the blue…since he’s busy talking to the ghost of MJ and reaching out to Fif on twitter, lol.

Funny how Jay gets reactions of those lite name drops.Cute lyrics but really nothing too hard.Or maybe I’m just spoiled from the ol’ Jay vs Kiss/Jay vs Nas/Jay vs Mase beefs.
……..smh @ game’s s/n being “comptontrash”
too many issues to count.

The game thing wasn’t really out of the blue because we all know jay takes a million yrs before he responds to somebody. He probably talking about:
With his new album, LAX, in stores this week SOHH sat down with The Game to talk first week sales predictions and to find out why he thinks “Jockin’ Jay-Z” was directed at him……
One of the lyricists that Game is referring to is Brooklyn-bred rapper Jay-Z. In recent months, The Game has been quite vocal in his desire to lure the rapper into a lyrical battle. On the LAX cut, “Dope Boys,” which features Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, Game taunts Jay by hijacking his hook for “Roc Boys (And The Winner is).”
“When I heard the, ‘Roc Boys in the building,’ I was like, well, I’m in Cali we do the dope thing. Everything is dope for us. So I came with ‘the Dope Boys in the building’ and then he comes with, ‘Jockin’ Jay-Z, I’m still dope boy fresh.”
Game thinks that this was an indirect diss. “Me and Jay I guess we trade subliminal hits every now and then,” he explained.

Game could get bodied just with his back and forth mood, tattoos, crying on camera, saying sorry to 50 cent. Jimmy is the biggest joke of all. Hes feared cause the size of entourage he walks around with. Jazzo just wants a handout. Dame we all know karma got him at the end. You dont side with your new friends u keep it 100 with the ones who got you there. It was Jay’s rhymes that made Rocafella A BRAND. Not your business moves cause he could have done it with out you, just had either lyor or someone else in that same space to make the moves….IT WASN’T LIKE THE PRODUCT WAS bad , and the pitch of the salesman was what sold the product YOU wasn’t BILLY MAYS, it was the product that was on point.
Hopefully he’s closes the casket shut on these d-riders….. with bp3 maybe a nice hard rap song dedicated to them all.
what happen to dipset they over. see how they ended up. look at game recently appologizing to fifty. jazzo had his chance now you mad at hov. they all dissed the hand that fed them in their own groups. and they end up with nothin just bitter. and the biggest target still is HOV. In 5 years they will do the same to Lil wayne…..

If Jay coulda done it without Dame than he would of. Jay couldn’t get a deal before Dame came around. Remember, he used to rhyme like Das Efx before he got up with the Best Out Crew. I got the mixtapes, trust me, you would not be supporting that shit. How you think they got the money to go up to Def Jam and get a label. It wasn’t Jay by himself, I personally know that. I like the track though.
People be killing me taking sides like they know these niggas. Just listen to the music and watch the show. If Jay win a verse, he win a verse. If Jaz-O win a verse he win a verse.
That’s like saying Puff woulda been Puff without Andre Harrell. Somebody always gives you your start. Its just Jay never credits the people who gave him his.

Yeah, but you giving Jay credit, and he tryna take credit, for something he ain’t even have a hand in. Dame signed Cam. Jay ain’t event want him on the label. Now he tryna take some type of credit for that man going platinum. He went platinum cause that was a hot ass CD, and his “Roc A Fella” association, not Jay Z association. If it was just about being associated with Jay then bleek, amil, and Beanie woulda went platinum. Only the ones Dame signed had life, none for Jay. Cam stood up to him and he really say nothing about him, cause really, Cam got money on his label, without his permission, without his help, and in spite of all the blocking that Jay was tryna do.

Does that mean Jayz didnt try and maybe succeed at sabotaging camrons career? Does that mean its not possibke that for a brief moment in his career when he got ethered by Nas and Cam’ron blew up Jayz was not intimidated or jealous or nervous that his career was over and someone else on the label who was more attractive than him and had pop fans was suddenly having success during his down time. You think its impossible for Jayz to be intimidated by camrons success for a moment?
Jayz stans are really delusional. Im not just saying that cause Im a cam fan but be fair.

It annoys me when people try to give Jayz credit for camrons success! Thats bull! Yes come home with me was cams only platnium album!
IT WAS ALSO HIS ONLY COMMERCIAL ALBUM! Yall fail to mention that. You also fail to mention how Jayz did everything in his power to sabbotage camron and dipset as soon as they came on the lable.
Yall act as if being on the roc is enough to make rappers do numbers.
WHY DIDNT FREEWAY GO PLATINUM? WHY DIDNT BLEEK DO NUMBERS? WHAT ABOUT BEANS…WHY DIDNT THEY HAVE THE COMMERCIAL SUCCESS AND FOLLOWING AND THEY HAD JAYZ ALL OVER THEY STUFF. THEY WENT OUT TO ROC THE MIC WHEN CAM WAS HELD BACK. JAYZ DIDNT LIKE TO SEE CAMRON HAVING SUCCESS! HE WAS THREATENED BY THAT. ESPECIALLY FRESH OFF OF BEING ETHERED BY NAS!
Jayz wasnt having a great career then.
Camron was successful cause he went commercial then, had a good album and good production. had a unique sound and style. Jayz had nothing to do with that. dame signed him. dame supported him. jayz didnt. he sabotaged him. The Jayz stanz just try to act like hes so above doing something like that. why? hes human.

I def agree with you Mzbritt. Niggas be gettin in they feelings like they be in love with these rappers.. I like certain rappers music, but I can be honest when it comes down to it. Yeah, ain’t nobody disputing that Jay is a better rhymer than Cam. Hell, Cam even will tell you that. He always said Jay was nice, he just always said he was a sucker too. I like Jay-Z’s music and I like Cam’s music. One is for the up-scale slingers, the other is for the hood niggas. Fact remains, Jay felt some type of way bout Cam before he came to the ROC, back when Cam and Mase was cool, and Jay and Mase was having they lil underground beef. When Cam got there, he ain’t son-up under Jay, his loyalty was to Dame. Jay had finally met another extremely arrogant dude who wasn’t sweatin’ him, and he ain’t no how to handle that. Then when them niggas took his beat and then told him “no, you can’t get on the remix”, that nigga Jay was salty from then on out.
Jay, pull your skirt down. Stop baller-blocking.

Dipset did NOT get “booted” off rocafella! THEY LEFT!
Dipset is the only ones who did numbers then other than Jayz. Its funny how you Jayz stans always try to take away from them as if they were not a great movement and didnt help rocafella be a greater label. Get real! Dipset did they thing even though Jayz tried everything in his power to stop them.
ROC NATION is bigger than koch deals?
AND?
Jayz just had to drop millions (over paid( just to get the rights to himself as an artist ad roc nation has yet to do anything yet. your acting like its become something! lets not forget Jayz TRIED to do rocafella without dame. (Bleeks comeback = fail! Teairra Marie = FAIL!) he failed! Whats going to be the difference with roc nation?
At the end of the day. Dipset and Jayz were the heart of that lable. Kanye came along and saved Jayz and stopped the lable from being complete trash. But even he was supported by dame. How come the Jayz stans never want to talk about that?
Jayz gets over cause hes a great rapper and his name is a brand. Dame wasnt the brand cause he wasnt the star he isnt “the rapper”, but he was the muscle and reason for the movement and success. NOT JAYZ! The fact jayz has yet to recapture that PROVES Jayz is not a businessman!
HE JUST GETS OPPORTUNITY’S CAUSE HE SUCK D*CKS AND HE’S JAYZ! PEOPLE WANT TO BE AFFILIATED WITH HIS NAME BECAUSE HE HAS STANS WHO SUPPORT HIM NO MATTER HOW OLD HE IS, OR NAPPY HIS HAIR IS OR HOW MUCH HE LIES, STEALS AND LOOKS LIKE A CAMEL.LOL
Same reason Beyonce gets movie roles. Its not cause she can act! We all know beyonce is a talentless wannabe when it comes to acting. yet she does big roles cause of her name, brand she has stans that will come see her no matter how poor her acting reviews and movies are. (*cough* obsessed) stop acting like Jayz is some genius. he just knows how to use people who actually are talented hard working hustlers who take thenrisk and put in the work.

first off dipset didnt get booted ur right they left in the split cause they was in dame’s share and were released, Secondly, dipset were up and coming when they were on roc a fella they had very scarce radio play outside of cam ron and juelz just cam out, they blew up off of the sucess of come home wit me. dipset didnt help roc a fella become a greater label, roca fella was a great label b4 that memory serves me correctly the roca fella name dominated from 2000-04 and from 01 to 04 was the premeire movement at that time, (music was on tapes and being banged on the radio and roc a fella was NY rap until 03 when G unit came along, and dipset didnt gain strength until late 04 early 05 when they really became mainstream so as far as dipset making roc a fella a greater label u fail wit dat

I fucks with MzBritt cause she be holdin her own, and she be spittin the truth. Few people see through the moves that Jay makes. He rode foxy brown’s wave to get in the mainstream “Ain’t No Nigga”. He rode Dehaven and Kline’s wave to get in on the crack. He rode Dame and Jaz-o’s wave to get in the business. He rode BIG’s wave to get his style and punch lines. He beefed with Nas cause Nas saw through that shit and ain’t wanna deal with him. Then he chase Nas dick by secretly fuckin with Nas’ baby-mom. That ain’t no G move, btw. If I fuck her first, and you go after me, just cause its me, than you a stan of me. Jay got some type of high from fuckin after Nas. He thought that made him equal to Nas, when in essence you #2. Nas wasn’t chasing Jay’s duck bitches. Then Jay beggin this nigga Nas to get on a song with him, and get turned down. Then he go at Nas for not wanting to work with him. Jay is a real clingy dude man. He great with the rap shit, but his moves is snakey. He always try to bomb on niggas who see through them though. Any nigga who gettin more shine than him, he get a problem with.

I believe he is still the best if he’s still making more money than majority of your favorite rappers without even doing much in the hip-hop industry as far as hip-hop goes. What make it worst this one man is making his own label with his money it’s not handed down to him. & lets not forget who he made hott. The list Goes on…

Damn HOV got the blogs buzzin. Thats the power the man has. Give credit where, credit is due. No one Jay-Z has ever beef with has been in his league with the exception of Nas. Cam, Game, and Jimmy are jokes. Brooklyn rapper Maino used to run Jimmy’s pockets in Harlem (FACT). So all that tough guy talk is a joke. Cam made words up to rhyme. And Game is way too emotional. He said he would never diss a legend like Jay-Z yet he continues to diss him.

Wow Jay Z has to most def have the biggest Man meat riders in the business. The dude sounded wack and that freestyle was mild at best. LOL he has to drop NAMES to hype up his album!!! Game, Jimmy, Jaz, & Dame like are you serious!!! aside from Game the rest suck!! Why did he call out and respond back to dudes like Cam, Joe Budden, and/or 50 huh??? The man isn’t stupid. My prediction for the blue print 3 …..like Budden said it best ” nobody buying your albums but you”!!

I think he skipped Cam for a couple of reasons
#1 in that Info interview didn’t Cam have generally positive things to say about Jay? Or at least his music?
#2 Cam doesn’t just talk greasy for the sake of it, like Jim does every chance he get. Cam kept it mainly on wax.
#3 Cam will embarrass the shit outta him if they sparred (haha, don’t worry, i know I’ma get roasted for that. But Cam did shit on Nas and Hov before. He KILLED Nas. I’m just sayin)

Your right Cam is the shit, but going at those other two and 50 has hurt him sales wise/fans wise, but I like him even more b/c of it. Cam ain’t no bitch like most of the New York rappers either. If he was to do a song with Jay or 50 their fans would be blowing Cam as if everything was cool again. He did body all them lyrically and in the interviews (clowning on them) and at the end of the day all their fans can say is “computers putin” or he hasn’t sold such and such album #’s. I know why he doesn’t sell much albums anymore it is b/c people like shitty music more and more now of days and that is what sells. Jay and 50 were the shit, but not so much anymore and I already know that they are rich so relax you don’t have to tell me that.

“at the end of the day all their fans can say is “computers putin””
Ya know? Like Get ‘Em Girls wasn’t one of the hardest joints on the radio at the time. Kay Slay used to rock that heavy.

You’re right. Jay going at Cam hurt Jay a lil, just like when he went at Nas. The art of the battle is comedy. And Killa is a real funny nigga. All Jay can do is out money him. But when it comes to funny punch lines, ain’t too many fuckin with Cam. That’s why 50 couldn’t get him, cause they both funny. But Cam rhyme better than 50. So Cam ended up winning that lil skirmish. Nas beat Jay cause he was funnier, plus he dropped some true shit in it. Jay couldn’t out money looks or dick riding. Nas showed niggas the “blueprint” for beating Jay. Saying he old ain’t gonna get it. Niggas gonna have to get they “funny” up. But you can’t do it wearing tight ass jeans and fruity shoes, cause that in itself is hella funny. Jimmy lost before he even gets a chance to respond. He got way too much material to be exposed, but Dame knows a lot about Jay. I’m sure he could damage him if he was to talk. Think about how much your best friend knows about you….. It could get ugly if Dame was to start revealing lil shit..

First off a couple people mentioned Joe Buddens… Joe buddens is small time and shouldnt even be allowed in a conversation with rappers of Jay’s character. Second cam is wak wit his Dr. Seuss ryhmes and everything he has said about Jay, jay has already responded to. Third, stop complaining about Jays buisness dealings like you were affected. Cutting people off who slow down ur money aint bein a snake thats smart buisness. Fourth, that freestyle was a mad smart idea to build hype for an album. I love how people say he just building hype like thats a bad thing. The whole idea of putting out an album is to get record sales! All that love for the music shit is bull! U ever notice its only the rappers that dont sell shit out stores that say its not about record sales. Hip hop is all about money. The whole record industry is about money. and if you think its different than that ur a fool.
And for the record, Jay-z would flame cam, jim, dame, joe, game and any of those other lames u might mention. The only rapper that could realistically compete wit Jay is Nas and he dont even put out songs like that now.

Ok, I will waite for him to flame these guys. He hasn’t flamed shit as far as battles go. I just want to see some flames. Flames are what this is all about, if your not flaming than your losing. Oh yeah Cam is the man and he flamed your Camel’s face. Camel Toe is flaming for not having knocked up Beyonce. Flame, Flame, Flame. Hate me NYCrell you flaming fruit cake.
FFFFFLLLLLLAAAAAAMMMMMMMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

See this is what I’m talking about. These niggas really believe hip hop is about money… I’m not gonna even call this shit hip hop no more. This shit niggas is putting out is “New-Age Disco”. It’s everthing that hip hop was fighting against when it started. It has truly did a 180. The return of Diso is here. Niggas keep dancing and tryna go pop.

Listen broham. Hip-Hop was made to be commerical Hip-hop was created to express the community & isn’t art Commerical because hip-hop is a form of art!
Now as far as lyrics go. It’s my opinon that Jay-Z is the best at his craft.
During the era of the Golden ages Mc Hammer was apart of the craft of hip-hop although during his time hip-hop was based on it craft. The idea of hip-hop changed. Even, if he made tons of money back than you was determined by your skills in 2009. It’s about your money.
Now because I mention money you must of forgot everyone mindset is money nowadays. Hell It’s a recession. NOw I do agree Hip-hop is about Talent. But, when childrens are going around rapping too certain music & craft understand they are growing up with the mindset of money. & because Jay-Z has so much of it to create more oppuninties of good craft [A Label], I believe a artist should be paid for his craft especially if he does well in it.
& now a days Alot rap artist claim they’re hustler and by far he seems to be doing the most hustle.
