The Notorious B.I.G.’s Autopsy Report Released By TMZ: Detailed Document

It’s never easy to report on murder related news when it comes to hip-hop’s fallen soldiers. But at times, these things help brings closure to questions and frustrating mysteries around those cases. For fans, friends, family and supporters of The Notorious B.I.G. his autopsy report was made public by TMZ. With as much respect to his family as possible, here are a few facts about Biggies’ passing.
According to the report, 3 of the shots were NOT fatal.
– Gunshot #1 struck Wallace in the left forearm and traveled down to his wrist.
– Gunshot #2 struck Wallace in the back, missed all vital organs, and exited through his left shoulder.
– Gunshot #3 struck Wallace on his outer left thigh and exited through his inner left thigh.
The reports says .. after Gunshot #3 exited the thigh, “the projectile strikes the left side of the scrotum, causing a very shallow, 3/8 inch linear laceration.”
The fatal bullet was Gunshot #4 … which entered Wallace’s body through his right hip and ripped its way through several vital organs … before coming to rest in his left shoulder area.
According to the report, the bullet perforated Wallace’s colon, liver, heart and the upper lobe of his left lung.
Immediately after the shooting Wallace was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital — where doctors performed an emergency thoracotomy … but it was too late. Wallace was pronounced dead at 1:15 AM.

How can he get hit in his outer left thigh, then in his right hip? I thought the car pulled alongside biggies car?

I have 1 question……how did he get so many left side hits if the shooter allegedly pulled up & shot through the passenger side of the vehicle?? I’m especially curious about Gunshot #3…entered his outer left thigh and exited his inner left thigh?? Sitting in the passenger seat?? and the shots coming in from the passenger side??..entered the outer left thigh??? Very peculiar…..Gunshot #4 is the only one that actually makes any sense to me…

It depends on the rounds that he got hit with (I never read that much into it) but 22 caliber and 9mm rounds are known to bounce around when they hit an object. Big reason a lot of the old school gangsters used 22cal revolvers, the rounds I believe spin funny or something when they hit a target. As far as the left side hits, I’m with you on that it makes zero sense unless he tried to hop in the back seat and was turned while it was going down.

I get the ricochet factor, thats probably why Gunshot #4 did so much damage internally, but 4 shots into the vehicle passenger side door and BIG’s large frame?? They would have had to miss him, then 3 of the 4 shots bounce off something in the truck and hit him on the left side?? And nobody else got hit?? And as far as him trying to hop in the back, no disrespect, but BIG was,well….big, and had a leg injury and was caught by suprise, so I doubt it. Just seems a little unbelieveable (no pun), but hey, nothings impossible, and I guess whats meant to be will be, right?
