This documentary is being produced by Dash Films and, according to Dame, its being directed by Mark Levin himself (the director of Slam, Mr. Untouchable, etc). Not shabby. Well, for better or for worse, Jimmy has always been a self-contained human movie, so I’m interested to see if he allows the good the bad and the ugly into his bio-doc. Full disclosure: I’ve been asked to share some of my vintage Dipset anecdotes for the flick, so I’ve been consuming my gingko-biloba to offset my notoriously bad memory.

C’mon B, WTF has Jones really done that warrants a documentary? If He’s gonna do a flick, do one that explains what happened to the Dips…Seems Dame saw Jimmy was hot & latched on to Him so He can try to be relevant in an industry that has basically forgot about Him. And again (I always ask this question on posts pertaining to DipSet) WHERE THE EFF IS CAM? I mean, let’s be real, none of this would be possible for Jim if Killa hadn’t opened the door. That being said, I fux with Jones (even though My comments may be seen as the opposite) & in a weird way, I want Him to win. He’s always been the underdog & although I may not agree with His methods, Dude is always entertaining if nothng else. But where is the loyalty? Where is the brotherhood? If Cam’ron is some shiesty ass egomaniac, let it be known, cause for all the fans of The Diplomats, this all seems shady, Juelz included. This should be the perfect time to share some of that heat & try to get the whole DipSet/ByrdGang/SkullGang/730Dips some much needed light. Like I said, I’m rooting for Jones, but it seems He’s just turned His back on the movement He helped start. Looks like Diplomatic Immunity 3 was all talk.

its funny how Dame was in the cut while Jim was going at Jay acting like he not involved and he was also acting like he outgrew the rap game. But check it this nigga is probably the reason a less than average mc like Jim got the deal he got if not a silent partner. Niggaz is snakes time to get the “Hustlers” out the game and get back to mcing

Wow, this actually looks like it might be worth watching at 2 a.m. on a Thursday. Jim Jones is far from Jay-Z, but I never hear him bragging about his ability to rap. He’s unapologetically about his business. He has an everyday man quality. He’s made it very far, it will be great to see what his work ethic is like.

i would watch it cos i like jimmy and all the dips in gneral, but i agree with AmpGeez, they would have been better of making something about what happened to the dips… i mean its not even funny now, were is cam? has he stopped rapping altogether.. its not fair for them to just act as if nothings happening.. its not fair on the fans..

I must say this is very J and Dame like (96ish) I mean think about it J was that hustler that had something to say on the mic and dame is the business guy pushing everyone to listen to him. I have read everyones comments and everyone has mad a point here but come on we all know Cam is either tired of the rap grind with barely any return. then to see his boys onstage with is his enemies doing what he was doing. It just proved that if you got the money power and respect you can get anything you want. Info I pose this question to you (hopefully you read and respond if your not to busy) IF JIMMY/DAME IS THE NEW JAY/DAME WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE CAM AND JUELZ? DOES JIMMY PULL A JAY AND TAKE THE DIPSET NAME AND USE IT TO IS OWN ADVATAGE WITH JUELZ IN HIS SIDE VENTURE??

@ Lee I think Cam has a lock on the name and other parts of the group so Juelz and Jim cnat get nada . Hench they are using sub groups to make their mark Plus I think Cam has some sort of deal where he gets a % off them albums from them

1st off, Jim is one of the few MC’s in NY that still is relevant. Everytime You look up, He’s featured on a new track or remix. 2nd, Jim & Juelz seem to be tighter than ever, with both of them supporting each others project. My question is where does Killa fit in to the new program?
BTW- I was shocked to see Dale get the axe on Top Chef…He was My pick to win it all.
