I saw this guy do some hysterical stand-up in LA years ago….and despite the cringeworthy ridiculous character that he played in The Hangover, I still think Jeong is on a roll…he was even on WWE. (and he’s really a doctor, lol)

hey miss info , I was reading the article about ken on that you link posted and I felt that people are really trying make it seem like his an asian anti-christ or something , but me being a first generation african-american sometimes poke fun at my culture , and i dont think its that serious when people do , but I just wanted to get your honest opinion on that situation

yeah as a korean-american I totally enjoy Dr. Ken’s humorous observations about asian-american culture. But I didn’t love the character that was written for him in the Hangover. So in that sense, I understood what some of the complaints were.

hey MissInfo, I am a korean as well and I read the examiner link you posted but I couldn’t disagree more. Most minorities in comedy feed off of stereotypes and ridiculous imagery. Look at blacks and latinos portrayed on MadTV for example. Look at Bobby Lee as well. And Margaret Cho basically bases most her routines on her mothers korean accent and old korean ways of thinking.
Ken is a comedian and thats what many comedians do. The fact that the writer compared him to bruce lee, Jet Li and chow yun fat is just ridiculous. Besides, as if martial arts aint no stereotype either.
The only reason Ken Jeong is getting pounded on is because he showed the world his micro-penis and bascially “confirmed” to the world that asian men have small penises. Believe it or not, his penis size actually pissed off a lot of asian men, since we have to deal with the shittiest stereotype ever.
And Ken Jeong looks like he does not have a penis at all.
I was suprised that the Examiner didnt mention it, but then again, Im sure the writer didnt wanna go there although he was thinking it.

I think this guy is funny. He seems to get very intense on talk shows. Maybe he added a daily eight ball to his hippocratic oath. “Above all else … do more blow.”
