The Game is back with Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf, the follow-up to 2012’s Jesus Piece, and his first independent release since his breakout almost a decade ago. Billed as a compilation album rather than a solo LP (Game’s long-awaited The Documentary sequel is slated for a release early next year), the 16-track project is stacked with appearances from Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana, Bobby Shmurda and many more. In other words, it’s Jayceon’s own version of a DJ Khaled album (thankfully, he hasn’t been screaming from the rooftops about how it’s a “classic” before it’s even hit shelves).
