The Game and Tony Yayo Want a G-Unit Reunion: Will It Happen?

During an interview the Wall Street Journal earlier this month, The Game’s manager, Dontay “Taydoe” Kidd, expressed his intentions to reunite Game and his long-time nemesis, 50 Cent. Now it looks like the rapper himself is down with the initiative, too. Last night, the Compton MC asked his fans on Facebook to “take a minute to vote here for a G Unit Reunion,” linking to the website GUnitReunion.com. The petition has already gathered over 5,000 online signatures, but whether a reunion will actually happen is another thing; it was just last week when 50 Cent told Forbes he thinks that is unlikely.
Fellow founding member Tony Yayo also recently shared his two cents on the state of G-Unit. Speaking to MTV News, the rapper said he would love to see a reunion, but was upset with The Game’s efforts to bring down the brand with his G-Unot campaign in the late ’00s. He also added that relationships in the group where better when they were broke.

I am sure everyone can admit we would all love to see a g-unit renuion as long as it doesn’t involve Tony Yayo.
Tony Yayo is the group’s dead weight and he certainly doesn’t add anything of relevance to the group.
50, Banks, Game and Young Buck linkin up for a full album would do damage to other groups out right now.

The world outgrew not only g unit, but gangster rap as a whole. My guess is that no gangster rapper will ever achieve any kind of significant success in the near future.

The whole G-Unit was massive and help define modern hip hop. Their movement came and went way too soon. I guess $ will divide people but in can also bring people back together if there is enough of it. The problem here is egos. I think the reunification will occur in due time. Timing and planning are huge to 50. Miss Info do you agree?

Nah they will be back because they are all about $. When the time is right and demand is crazy the 5 of them will reunite and dominate again. Everything comes full circle in the rap game. Facts are facts, just look at other powerful groups who have done it. Hating is pointless.

Fifty is not relevent in music what so ever..Everything he touches turns to shit(music wise). His buzz is over..He is blessed to rich…Let the music go…He is a proven snake, that cant be trusted.He has fallen out with Everyone besides,Em and Dre(ppl he knows he needs). Game didn’t have enough gas to put 50 away..Game Shot 50..then Kanye dug the grave..The kill shot was landed Rick Ross. Game would be foolish to want to surround himself with a snake. Be your own man.

Name 50′s last hit..I give 2 shits what he sold 1x. The only hater is 50..How you gonna be around Mayweather..then try to start a boxing promotion and try to work with his rival. He is a crab. He is caked up with garbage music.

The reason 50 hasn’t blown up in awhile is cause everybody is tired of seeing him WIN. It’s not like his recent music isn’t hot people are just on some bullshit now. Talkin’ bout recent hip hop artists, this generation is all about a hot beat and a flashy hook. Man i can’t wait til 50′s new album comes out shits gonna be crazy
