Just to clarify some things I’m reading online…..Hosea Thomas, the man who shot at T.I. and fatally wounded his best friend Philant Johnson in 2006 was already convicted of murder and sentenced to 66 years in prison back in December, 2008. (If you remember, TI testified in court and told the horrifying story of that night.) But today, his brother, Padron, who was the driver during that attack and actually turned state’s witness against Hosea, he was sentenced to 17 years for an unrelated charge. Basically, Padron sold out his brother and fingered him for the murder of Philant Johnson, all so that he could get a lighter sentence in his conviction for running a weed-circuit between Cali and Cinncinnati. Oh, and let us not forget that Padron also did 14 years in prison for rape and robbery in the 80’s. Such winners, both of these guys.
