Fans of The-Dream will have to sit tight a little more longer. The Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter has announced a new released date for his upcoming Crown EP.

The “Radio Killa” took to Instagram on Thursday night, posting a photo promoting his new project. On the image, the new release date of April 14 is also revealed. Originally scheduled to arrive on March 31, Crown is lead by the singles “Fruition” and the T.I.-featured “That’s My Sh*t.”

Crown will serve as the first half of The-Dream’s new album, the first under his Contra Paris label (distributed by Capitol Records). The second half, an EP titled Jewel, arrives June 9.

Crown is more modern R&B, and Jewel will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side, the songs I might have given to other artists before,” said the 37-year-old in a recent interview. “If you put me in a box, Jewel is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in, every year I’m expanding and growing, and it makes for a more interesting plot.”
