The Cool Kids reunited this year, releasing their new album Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe back in September after a six-year hiatus. The Chicago duo of Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish take it back to the ’70s with their throwback music video “9:15PM.” Directed by Verluxe, The Cool Kids flawlessly captures the Soul Train era for their funky single featuring Jeremih.

‘9:15PM’ pays homage to the soul bounce jams of the 70s that all our parents got down and dirty to, so of course breaking out our Soul Train gear, calling up Jeremih, and creating the video to match the vibe was a no-brainer,” TCKs tell P&P who premiered the video. “We wanna give a special shout out to Verluxe for making our vision into a reality.”
