This OG Supreme x Nike sneaker was definitely the first shoe to really open up my eyes to the “sneakerhead” world. Sure, we all beasted over Js and Uptowns in middle school, but it wasn’t until I discovered the online sneaker community that I truly become OBSESSED. I didn’t realize it at the time but OG skaters from NYC actually skated in the original pairs, released 10 years ago. I can’t find the exact part but there’s an old 411 video clip of Harold Hunter tearing it up in the OG Supreme dunks (RIP). And this was way before skateboarding became accepted in Hip-Hop on a mainstream level. Actually, I got made fun of a lot for wearing Wu-Wear and DC shoes at the same damn time (about ’96-’97).
Anyway, this coming Thursday (July 19) , Supreme will be releasing a new colorways of the famed Supreme Dunks. The historic New York skate brand, Supreme, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary of the shoe and will drop the first pairs at their LA, NYC, and London locations, also online. Japanese fanatics will get their chance to cop on July 21. Of course, supplies are extremely limited, so unless you plan on starting to camp out starting today, resellers are your only hope.

Prefer the original colorway not feeling the red and if these are getting the Nike treatment as of late. The leather on the toe box will be terrible and crease from a breeze hitting them.

sup info ‘ the 30 second sell out ‘ right here. This pair flew off the online market to fall into the hands of greedy little hypebeasted reseller hands nationwide. One fella had them posted on eBay for 1300$… Ambitious, I like it. I woulda like to get some good use out of my pair but 450 $ is a high pice tag for a shoe you’re going to beat up skating or biking . I’m all for wearing you shoes and benefitting from their design and functionality. (you gotta love anyone who hasn’t grown out of babying their jordans) sb changed the sneaker game in their rugged shoes that used to be able to handle a beating, until Nike slashed heir budget and produced and entire line of duds… Omar Salazar’s, just about all their general releases aside from janoski’s or a random hit here and there (Entourage) anyway the point here is I’m bitter about resellers and people who are too afraid to get out rock their shoes and get some damn good use out of them. Even if you bought them for 400$ from a 16 year old with more money than you!
