Showing growth and maturity, Kid Cudi seems to be taking an unfortunate album leak very well. So far, one of the standout tracks, “Solo Dolo Pt. II” (featuring Kendrick Lamar), has begun circulating around the blogs. The hard hitting rap track is the follow up to his fan favorite from his debut album. Cudders also produced the cut.

Flacko recently lent a hand to British singer Jessie Ware for a remix to her track, “Wildest Moments.” The collabo is set to be included on the North American release of of her critically acclaimed debut album, Devotion, which drops on Apr. 16. On the cut, Rocky spits two short verses about cupid’s magic.

Before news of Schoolboy Q making XXL’s Freshmen cover went public, Puffy stopped FunkFlex’s show to bless the mic with a few bars. He dropped a quickie over an old Funk Doc instrumental, but killed it. Q will be making his rounds on NYC for the rest of the week, with an MTV Rapfix episode on deck and a Thursday night show at S.O.B.’s.

Back in 2011, rock band Awolantion released a massive viral hit, “Sail,” which garnered over 15 million views on Youtube and was picked up on a number of television shows. The track may be new to a lot of rappers, but TDE beautifully flipped it into a song of their own. Thanks to LA Leakers, we now have a revamped version with new verses from K. Dot and Ab-Soul.

Here’s a pairing that works on so many levels. Recently, Jeremih linked up with LA based producer Shlohmo for the Yours Truly and Adidas originals “Songs from Scratch” series. While in the studio these two talents from opposite ends of the spectrum found special groove to connect their sounds. The result is dark, trippy, but melodic as hell. Previously, the Yours Truly series paired the likes of Danny Brown with AraabMuzik, and Angel Haze with TNGHT’s Lunice.
