Details have been kept under wraps regarding Justin Timberlake’s first album in seven years. In a recent sit down with MTV News, T.I. reveals he’s worked on handful of records with JT. The two, along with producer Timbaland, started recording late last year says TIP. One record tenatively titled “Goodbye Homey,” he says has various meanings and definitions behind it.

“Well, ‘Goodbye Homey’ is really, it’s saying goodbye to something that is very special to you,” he said. “Not necessarily a person; it could be a time of your life, it could be an experience, it could be a relationship, it could be a friend that’s passed on. ‘Goodbye Homey,’ it has so many meanings and definitions. So when you hear it, you absorb it, and then whatever it means to you is what we intended.”

The two have given us great collaborations in the past as T.I. appeared on Timberlake’s smash-hit “My Love,” off his 2006 FutureSex/LoveSounds LP. Justin returned the favor appearing on The Kang’s “Dead and Gone” off T.I.’s Paper Trail album in 2008. Executive produced by Timbaland, Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience album is due March 19.
