This year marks the 15th anniversary of T.I.’s sophomore classic, Trap Muzik. An album that started the Atlanta movement of the sub-genre trap, T.I. celebrated with a visit to NPR Music headquarters recently. Backed by an orchestra of young rising musicians from the non-profit Atlanta Music Project, Tip performed stripped down versions of his street anthems “Rubber Band Man,” “What You Know” and his Billboard smash-hit “Live Your Life.”

This music was about the elements that people have to endure in their lives every day and find a brighter side and make a way out of no way,” said the ATL veteran when speaking about the music from his sophomore LP. “That’s what this music represents.” Watch it below.
